Yes they are, staggered 18" BBS CH's. Look great IMO but hell does it ever need lowering now!! Also forgot to mention it has UK spec brakes all round too which are the best stoppers I've ever had on any car!!

You would say that...you're bias'd!! Lol. To be fair, I think it looks best but just don't like the way the plate over hangs the plinth either end and wasn't sure if a UK plinth would fit my car so went Jspec and done with it.

I've had the car a few months now (bought from Scooter) and thought it's a bout time I posted a few photos. Went to a PistonHeads meet this afternoon and took a couple of nice ones so thought they'd be an ideal start. Quick bit of info on the car, I bought it totally stock and all I've done so far is change the wheels and put a cat back system on. (plan on a few more bits and bobs but nothing too crazy!) It's a '96 Jspec and has been in the UK since '97 with only 2 owners. It's been looked after by Mr T for the vast majority of it's life with the exception of the 2 years that Scott had it. It's pretty much as pure as they come, still clocking in KMs (reading 116,00 at the mo) was totally stock and even the paint is ALL completely factory original! I do have a Jspec plate to go on, just waiting for a new plinth to arrive. Sorry they're only iPhone photos, will get some better ones up soon, and will of course keep this thread updated with any changes I make!

So you think it's right?? It is meant to be an all in one double Decat but looking at the straight section on the two pipes they're running at different angles!? It's a Megan Racing pipe.

No I haven't. I did buy one 2nd hand off the forum but it's the most shonky looking thing you've ever seen so needless to say it's not going anywhere near my car!

Right, thanks guys. I'll check the flange later and see if it's right. At the moment though, it looks like I'll be getting a refund off my mate. That is always the downside of buying from mates, it can be a problem when it all goes Pete Tong!!

As mentioned in another thread, I bought a 2nd Decat a while back and have been keeping my eye out for a 3" 1st Decat but then this all in one Decat pipe came up from a mate who bought it for his single without realizing it wasn't v banded!! Anyway, I offered it up against the Decat I've already got and it seems to follow a different route! Any ideas? Also has a sensor hole that the 2nd Decat doesn't have. I know it came from America and is really nicely made but are the US exhausts different to j specs??

Bugger! How hard would it be to retro fit?

My mate is soon going to be removing his cruise control and it's about the only thing I miss about my old car so I was wandering how straight forward it will (or won't) be? What parts will I need from his car? Will the cruise stalk fit to my wheel? It's in better condition than his. My car is a TT6 facelift, his is TT auto pre facelift-will this cause any issues? Will my car have the cruise loom ready to plug and play? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a 3" cat back fitted, have a 3" 2nd Decat ready and waiting and was on the hunt for a 3" 1st Decat. However, I've just bought a brand new Megan racing 3" combined 1st & 2nd Decat. Normally the restrictor ring would sit between the 1st & 2nd decats, but in this situation, is it OK to fit it further back between the Decat and cat back?

Mate of mine needs drivers door card if it's in good nick?

Did you manage to find that plinth mate? I've had 2 other people offer me them but neither have responded when I've accepted and offered payment which seems a little odd!

Going to get mine done when it's lowered! Needs it now let alone once it's been dropped!! I'm trying to decide between getting it done at a local specialist called Denmead Tyre Services who use the Hunter machine or go full and take it to Sam at TDI!?

Will settle for pre facelift ones and modify them to fit.
