  1. Fair enough. It was just a quick search to find the rates so my bad!! Still as said, £100 is a good price.
  2. Awesome! I'll be well up for seeing pics of that!! Might even be interested in the Super Drager if it's in good condition?
  3. ^^ Oh!! Scrap alloy is £2.33kg at the mo. I looked on the net and found that the alloys are around 11kgs each give or take? 11x2.33= £25.63 x4= £102.52 Either I've got my info hugely wrong or there's a good scrap value?? Anyway, here are some photos: NSR NSF OSF OSR How they look on (as if you didn't know!)
  4. As per title. Would like shot of them ASAP as hopefully my new wheels are going on tomorrow if my nuts turn up. If they don't go I'll only be weighing them in which will get me £100 scrap. They all have tyres but they're shot. 2mm'ish all round. Have no idea what they're worth but since I'll get £100 scrap you can have them for that +delivery or of course you can come and get them.
  5. I went for RAYS as I've heard horror stories of some lesser nuts breaking with dire consequences. Wanted matching lockers too. Mine are black and I paid £70 instead of the RRP of £120 though some places do sell them for £99.
  6. I've bitten the bullet and ordered them today. Got a good deal on them so if sh1t happens and they're too short for whatever reason I should be able to make my money back on them.
  7. How does £20 delivered sound? That's how much another member has his up for but I can't get a reply from him for whatever reason. On holiday maybe!?
  8. Anyone got any thoughts on this? I'd really like to get them ordered today.
  9. Just got some BBS wheels and am looking to get some nice nuts!!! :0) Seen RAYS lightweight locking nuts (M12x1.5 just to check they're correct fitment?) Looking at other makes, they offer standard length and extended length. I'm guessing I'll be fine with standard length but can anyone confirm before I fork out?? Thanks, Simon.
  10. As per title really. In good condition. Cash waiting.
  11. Is the active spoiler ECU still available bud??
  12. Ok, will do. However, just looked on the Whifbitz site again and seen they do a 3" twin box too that's much more like it price wise!! So, the Whifbitz system has a good reputation, is friendly on the ears, will pass trackday sound tests but above all gives good performance gains?? If so, it sounds like the one to go for.
  13. Just had a little look on the Whifbitz site, the twin box system appears to have 4" pipework. Will this not be a bit OTT for a car that's only going BPU?? Also, at nearly £700 it was a little bit more than I was budgeting. The Tanabe is equally expensive too. What diameter pipework does that have? Are there any photos and/or videos of either of these exhausts fitted??
  14. Ha ha...yep! Just been through the entire thread and it's now subscribed!! To be fair your answer alone has probably sealed the deal for me! I am still open to suggestions though! I've seen this mentioned quite a few times but not heard it. Am I right in saying looks the same as the Spec R?? If the RX is quieter does that in turn give it less of a performance gain? What's the price difference between the two and where is the cheapest place to go? Looking on the net the prices vary greatly!
  15. Hoping to get a new exhaust for my TT6 in the next few weeks. At the moment it's totally stock but future plans are full BPU. I want an exhaust that will show off that lovely smooth straight six note. Preferably something that's not going to make me dread going out for a gentle cruise in the car, but I don't mind it barking on WOT!! My 1st choice is a Nur Spec R as I had one on my 200SX and loved it and a friend had one on his Supra and loved it too! (Was before I knew him though) I've trawler the net and this forum and listened to numerous videos but can't really tell how intrusive the Nur Spec will be. (Bearing in mind it will eventually be double de-catted!) Sorry if I'm covering old ground but I have had a good look round already.
  16. Is this still available by any chance or was it a successful sale??
  17. I had my SiR insured with Sky a few years back. Renewal went up by £370!! I phoned around and got a quote with Admiral for £100 less (so £470 off renewal!). When I phoned Sky to cancel my renewal they offered straight away to match Admiral's price! Told them to ram it as they were taking the piss putting it up that much if they could do it for Admiral's price anyway. Supra's renewal is now up, had a quote from Sky and they're pretty competitive again. Not THE cheapest but prob one of the best policies.
  18. Anyone got any facelift spats going??
  19. That's what I shall. The original thought of having pre facelift ones was to delete the red running lights.
  20. Hmmm. This was my thought. It's a shame as I wouldn't mind loosing the running lights, but as all the paint on the car is original, I don't want to go down the route of filling and painting! So, I will happily live with them!!
  21. I'm just buying some BBS CH wheels and am considering these in grey. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/D1-SPEC-WHEEL-NUTS-P1-5-TOYOTA-STARLET-SUPRA-BB-CELICA-/260750273359?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item3cb5ed6b4f My only issue with them is that I'd want some lockers on there too and would look a bit naff having these with a mahoosive great McGard thrown in the mix too!
  22. I've been looking at a few photos of facelifts with spats on today, and I don't think my theory of pre facelift spats covering the running light holes will work! Anyone got any advice that could confirm?
  23. If I removed the rear quarter running lights from my facelift and fitted non facelift rear spats, would they be tall enough to cover the holes from the running lights?
  24. Does this decline in boost occur when your flooring it or when you're just gently pulling up through the revs at part throttle??
