  3. 4 ABS hubs, ecu, wiring, time, cost. Wouldn't bother- just go slower when you see "mothers!"
  4. Received mine today. Very impressed with the finish, it even seems its ready painted. Sorry for the stupid question, but how would you suggest it is secured? Will post pics when fitted tomorrow. Thanks Ibrar.
  5. At the bottom of the exhaust manifold. Stand with your legs touching the drivers wing and look to the base of the manifold. You will see a 4/5mm black wire coming out, the engine side being the sensor, the wire being the 4 needed (in one) going to the front top of the engine on the same side. The clip is a bar steward to undo.
  6. If its a HKS boost controller they are supposed to be filtered. You can get them from Sumo Power. I would imagine most would need filtration. http://www.sumopower.com/productsearch/hks_filter

Removal of the fag lighter ASSEMBLY requires dash out. Does an "accessory" like a compressor work in it? (ignition needs to be on) The fuse for it is next to the go pedal, PITA to change. To fit flared arches would mean the purchasing of relevant wheels with correct offsets and widths to fill the gap out. An expensive exercise, not even contemplating the bodywork and painting.
  9. If tou fancy a ride in an auto TT or NA pm me your number. I'm in West Derby.
  10. Yep, got trial rear but with half carbon TRD spoiler . Never gone spoilerless on the white one, though the grey on has for a year. Just waiting on a low level one from Ibrar, but will be going satin black to match the wheels
  11. That will be Silverhaze= think he lives in the Walton area. Typical- hes been on here A FEW MONTHS and gets spotted, I've been on here over 4 years and still await a mention on here..... Think I spoke to your dad last year. Taxi driver, Orrel Park?
  12. Me too. Never had a credit card or felt the need/urge to, although I get them offered to me frequently!
  13. When I passed my test it was just under 50p per gallon, there is 4.565 litres per gallon, thats under 11p per litre! I recall a trip from Liverpool to Llandudno in a 1275 Mini with 3 passengers costing me £3 return.
  14. When I bought my first Supra over 4 years ago it was a toss up between it and a red XK8. In retrospect and much more knowledge I made the right choice. I still want one though Beautiful motors.
  15. Enough to fuel the Black Beast for...... 2 hours
  16. Wow, what a place to live! Been there quite a few times, last time was for the Brazil v Portugal game last June. The place I stayed in had monkeys on the road outside! Usually stay in Joburg, a school friend of 40 years has been there for 30 years. Will def look you up next time I'm there.
  17. Read this http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/supra/boosting_the_beast.htm It sounds to me like he has fitted the controller to the ebv at the back of the engine, which does NOTHING to up the boost of turbo 2. This will only work with control of the wastegate valve, which seems he hasn't done. Follow Scotts advice, the link above shows you how to plumb it back to stock. The Max Boost site tells you to fit a MANUAL boost controller to the EBV, where your current control is, and a manual/electronic to to wastgate valve, thereby controlling the presooling and boost of No2.
  18. When are you back in ZA? Where will you be staying? Go over there quite a bit, and usually do a bit of travelling whilst there. I love it, and your car as well
  19. Sorry Guys, dont know if you will see this but will be unable to make it at any meeting point. Had to go in to work ffs.
  20. I'm thinking by "UK headlights" he means UK legal, not Euro legal......
  21. Could be hooked up per Stuart Hagens EBV mod to gain higher boost on the first turbo without detriment to the pre-spooling of No2?
  22. Some well researched and documented stuff on here http://www.pocuk.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=77&sid=7d08047ca48a6f55853307c232e4d5c0
  23. Have you got a fat left index finger? (sorted it now)
  24. Skys underwriters wouldn't even quote me with a Liverpool postcode I pay a combined princely sum of just under £600 for a TT AND a NA Could be my age and impeccable record though......
