  1. Many congrats mate, a lovely feeling it is. When my son was born i had a gtr and the noise never bothered him one bit and if he would start crying i would just spool up the turbo a bit and the WHOOOOOOSHHHH......magic!......... would make him quiet again.
  2. I am also due and upgrade on t mobile and only use my phone for calls/pics. I currently have a n95 and have been offered a blackberry, samsung tocco ultra and the sony ericsson w995. I am edging towards the either the samsung or w995 because of the 8 megapixel camera. Hate upgrading as i know jack all about new phones but am thinking w995 unless someone already has it and knows about any probs. P.s bonus is Mazuma will give me £95 for my old n95!

    Arthroscopy

I think iam getting addicted to operations as i really love the feeling after, when you are waking up. LOL!..wish i was like you! I'm scared $hitless of doctors and hospitals! I have problems with my right knee as in that if i kneel down to pick something up i can not put full weight on my legs and need to hold something. I find it extremely painfull to lift myself back up and normally feel like my knee is full of air and the knee cap is grinding. Feels like it needs some WD40 in their but i will not get it checked incase i need a OP....which i also need one on my nose because it is broken but also have been chickening out of that for a few years now.
  4. Same here..................made me hock up and i think anyone who has kids will feel awful when watchig that.
  5. Personally I disagree. I thought the whole idea is that the Police force were to be above religion, racism, personal opinions, dress code of others etc. The uniform is the same uniform what ever you are or where ever you are from. The Police in my opinion should not be trying to 'fit' around any religion, person or thing.... Going back to your comment re night clubs... the Police don't change their uniform to go in to a night club... why shuold they change it for any kind of church? Well i'm sure they do get changed appropriatley when they go out on the weekend and are not entering while on duty or emergency situation. If they are just visting, police officer or not they would have to fit the dress code to get in. As mentioned before in emergency situations this will not be required but when visting they are required to show a bit of understanding and respect for other religions, which TBH people should be doing for each other anyway and if that was the case i'm quite sure the world would be a much nicer place to live in for all.
  6. I never came to this country but was born and bred here, and believe their is nothing wrong with what the police are doing. It is definately a step in the right direction and it is these kind of little steps that will go a big way to solving terrorism. After all if u went to a nightclub u would have to fit the dress code to get in and there really isn't much difference apart from the fact religion is involved instead of booze and music.
  7. If u get car jacked at least the police can quickly trace the car if the signal hasn't been jammed by then. A tracker will give u a bigger discount depending on what car your insuring depending how likely it is nto get nicked. My supe didn't require one but seems like most companies require one for my m3 as it is more desirable to theifs and the body/mechanical parts on the car are worth alot more when selling on.
  8. Hot water bottle do the trick? Can u not change the whole arm if thats what getting stuck?
  9. I broke my 6 speed single turbo and made 11.5k back!.............did have loads of aftermarket goodies though.
  10. I had this on mu supe when it was BPU and came over from japan. U can't get the software to map it but it ran well with good afrs on 1.2 bar boost(stock turbos) on v power. Had a silly 8300 rpm rev limit but seemed to have 2 different maps on it. When it was cold it felt like power was reduced and soon as it gets up to temp the throttle used to get alot more responsive. I think u can also get SARD chips which are called analyser and are available for different boost levels. U probably better getting something that can be mapped easily.
  11. I used to get panic attacks bad and actually passed out the one time and was taken to hospital in a ambulance. It was all related to stress which caused anxiety and all this will lead to depression. It is a viscious cycle once your in it and vey hard to break out off. I am mostly past my issues without taking any drugs the doctor offered but took up counselling and that put a light on to why i was getting so worked up. I got OCD because of this and only in counselling can they teach u what your body is doing and how to combat these problems. They will teach u relaxation techniques and trigger signs. I found the best way was as soon as u feel it coming on try and not think about whats happening and instead stare at something across the road or divert your attention and after doing this for a bit of time it will pass over.
  12. I know the feeling, just wait till she say's dad for the first time!
  13. Moments which u will remember for ever! My 10 months old son has just started walking and it is at times like these u feel proud to be a dad and memories that i will cherish forever.

  16. But it's irrelevant whether we can change it or not, because to us it hasn't happened so we don't know if we changed it or if it was set out before us. I remember being a silly kid in my youth and with a group of friends took my mates dads car for a drive while wagging maths mock exams! I wasnt driving but 2 of the lads started arguaing over who wanted to sit in the front seat (being only 15). After about 1/2 hour one of them forced his way in, prior to this the car wouldnt start (toyota celica beilieve it or not) and when finally got it started went 1/2 mile down the road and it died out through some water in the ford. A guy driving past in a range stopped and towed us out to the side of the road and told us to go home. Being excited kids we eventually got it started again and about 10 mins later going round a bend at approx 50-60 ish the bonnet came flying up smashed the front windscreen and hit head on in to a big tree completely writing the car off. My mate who fought for the front passeneger seat had all the sharpnel from the broken glass stuck in his face and was pi$$ing blood everywhere. We did do a runner but ended up handing ourselfs in to the police as my mate was taken to hospital and required some serious stitiches and was scared for life with a 7 inch scar going across his forehead, eyes and cheek and we all felt guilty. Now we all belived that it must have been fate why he ended up in that seat and the guy who had jumped in the back was so shocked that it could have been him. We did get signs all day not to drive the car but somehow believe we were meant to as we did and have learnt a serious lesson and we were all lucky to walk away with minor injuries. I mean this is just a short summary of events that morning, but we couldnt find the keys, then handbrake was siezed on, not starting, had a puncture, died out in ford and so on and being 15 not mechanically minded we still got the car running because it was fate and was meant to happen?.
  17. I believe in fate to some extent and believe some things are meant to happen i.e destiny. I mean for example, i remember reading some time ago about a non smoker and healthy fitness instructor in his mid to late 20's who died from an heart attack while having a little jog one morning. This must have been fate/destiny to some exent.
  18. Being stress and dreaming about all the supercars i would own one day lol! At least at that age u didnt have a clue to how much they would cost to buy, insure and run! 19. LOL!.......u could never get any return with there ridiciolus prices!
