  1. i have one arch liner for sale, if interested pm me as i am in birmingham so can arrange a pick up.
  2. What the good man said. Once they start rusting it spreads like butter and even the r32/r33 suffer from rust, especially around the front suspension turrets. Build quality is no wear near that of a supra.
  3. nboost I didnt realise it was only the R32 that you can switch to rwd, I assumed you could do it to all of them? I wonder if there is a mod out there to do the 33 and the 34? On a r32 gtr while your driving let the car coast in neutral and switching the ign back on and off will put car into full rwd and do it again and it will be 4wd. You can just pull the 4wd fuse or install a cheap custom switch to swap between both. Very usefull for drifting or drag burnouts. R33 and r34 have the front diff pre loaded all the time, so running them in rwd cause's premeture wear to front diff although u can use a grd dancer module to put them in rwd but i wouldn't.
  4. I think u lot are getting confused as the car was originally 10k with the single but £7500 on twins.
  5. Also the r32 can easily be run in full rwd as well as 4wd, but not a r33 or r34. I just sold my r33 gtr and when i had it wished i had bought the r32 because i could have switched between rwd and 4wd by the flick of a switch. I have always been a rwd fan and the gtr just got boring for me as i couldn't run it in rwd without issues. If i did it again, i would deffo have a well specced r32 gtr but would still take a single 6 spd supra over that !!!
  6. Horrible news and thoughts are with his family and friends. So sad to log on and read something like this, R.I.P bud.

I haven't stopped myself but have cutdown from say 25 a day to approx 8-10 a day which i feel is better than nothing. Like someone said, you need to be wanting give up and everything will fall in it's place. I myself am not ready to give up but have cut down and tbh is not really that hard once you set your mind on it.
  8. What amaze's me is that we now have modern cars on the road with better safety features like multi airbags, braking systems etc and therefore cars should be able to slow down quicker than say in the 1970's but they still want to reduce the speed limit. All this eco c..rap is just a cover up for the gov't who's trying to rinse us dry to pay back there debt's through fines etc. Reducing the speed limit will actually cause more cars to be on the roads at the same time than before, as it will take longer for people to complete there journey's at 50. Also isn't the best fuel consumption supposed to be around the 56-60 mph mark? This gov't has lost the plot and i hope they out at the next elections!
  9. There is a petition against this at the number 10 site u can sign. I have sighned it but they will probably push it through anyway!
  10. Price sounds about right. My current m3 had the front arms replaced on its last mot and also a trailng arm bush etc and have a reciept for £1100. Have you seen parts prices for the rs6? They should change the rear springs for you free of charge as this was one of the recalls issued by bmw, give bmw customer services a ring and they should sort it.
  11. What a disaster!!! Some people just have no style!!!!
  12. I think there are 2 types as mentioned above and also 2 types of batteries depending on how specced the car is. There was a heavy duty battery and alternator fitted to models which had a high spec and therefore put extra strain on battery and alternator.
  13. Alternator seems to be a common problem on the m3's. I know a few guys who have had theirs reconditioned for approx £80-£100 and they seem to be fine. They should be fairly straight forward to fit and you may find a diy on the net somewhere.
  14. Why sleep? Plenty of time for that when your dead, so making the most of it for now!
