  1. Hi folks, Hopefully you can help! I have been looking to get a set of 20mm spacers to help my new wheels clear UK brakes. Now i've managed to get a set of decent hubcentric ones as a favour from a mate but i believe they have came off a Skyline previously so wasn't sure how they'd line up. Have had a look today matching it against the wheel hub and it all matches up for stud size and the rest except the centre bore is a lot bigger than the hub itself. Not knowing a great deal about these but common sense tells me this is obviously defeating the purpose of having the centre bit sit on flush as it's designed to and if i fitted them as it were then all the pressure, etc would be directly onto the wheel studs which i'm assuming will end in tears. Question i was wanting is would it be ok to purchase some good quality spigot rings to bridge the gab between the hub and the spacer. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260419147966 I was looking at these, if suitable? See there are cheaper rings that are non-metal for around a tenner but don't want to be cheap. I measured the spacers today and it looked around 73mm and from reading on here i see the Supra hub is 60.1mm. Thanks!
  2. As above folks looking for 20mm hubcentric spacers please.
  3. Spotted on a wee trip to N.I last week. Mate was driving back down the coastal route from the Causeway down to Carrick and passed a very nice looking black Supra parked up.
  4. Ouch. On the plus side though he looks like he's in happy happy land. What pain killers did he get?
  5. Thanks guys, spot on as usual ! 3.5mm female coupler was the baby. Cheers for the help.

    Camping Trip

Ok mate no worries. I'm finish at 4pm on weekend of 15th then off the whole weekend so that would be idea.
  7. If the ice age did get them then they wouldn't be left standing surely ? Force of the plateaus and the glaciers would have lifted the pyramids with them when they forced past and on top of that the freezing of the pyramids - particularly on limestone - would have left them in a big pile of dissasembled rubble once they had thawed the stone would have expanded and cracked under the pressure built up by the ice freezing into the gaps ?
  8. Afternoon folks. Needing a wee bit of assistance for is quite simple hopefully. To cut a long story short i'm setting up an Xbox 360 for someone so that they can run it through their PC monitor instead of a standard telly. I've got all the neccesary video connections and it's running fine, obviously there is no sound coming through this though which was part of the idea as they wanted it to run via headphones when playing. I managed to get a special connector for this which basically gives the monitor input plus a white and red audio output connector. I've bought a bridge for these which then turns it into one headphone jack (the idea obviously being this would connect into a speaker system, etc as opposed to headphones). So i have one standard small headphone jack coming from the red/white audio output and also another identical headphone jack coming from the headphones they intend to use. What i'm stuck on is the terminology or specification for the little bridge / connector i need to join them together? Sorry if that is a bit vague i will try and get pictures.
  9. ^^ agreed, i almost learned that the hard way at the weekend getting UK front's calipers off.

    Anything happening with this?
  11. Virgin Media rumoured to have it on a one-off deal otherwise i'd imagine Bravo will pick it up and broadcast it 'as live' on tape delay like they do with the wrestling.
  12. Shouldn't discount autos either. My list of thing was exactly the same as yours word for word but came to the stage finding one just wasn't happening. Managed to get an auto which ticked all the other boxes and didn't look back.
  13. I'm off this weekend, give us a shout i'm sure between the folks who've already said they are free we can get a look at it between us.
  14. Red supra passed you outside the gig tonight. I was walking along Aitkenhead road after the gig around 11pm, gave a small wave and got a nod back. Looked stock but very tidy and had been looked after. Doubt it was anyone on here but never know?
  15. Bummer mate. Some little toe rag put the back window in on my MR2 when i was at work a few weeks ago. Thank goodness i took the Supra that day and not the MR2.......wasn't malicious as nothing broken into, more likely kids messing around, but still leaves a bad taste in the mouth and disillusioned with people
  16. 99 jspec here with 44,000 miles on it.
  17. Quite possibly the nicest Supra i have ever seen! I was in a bit of a hurry as i'm rushing about getting last minute things for holiday and was back at my mums in Alloa for the day. Nice to chat to you briefly, sorry i was in bit of a rush ! As i said the nicest and possibly the newest Supra i've ever seen - magnifico

    Camping Trip

I've been invited over by one of my old uni pals to Northern Ireland from the 12th - 15th July. Penny didn't drop till after i booked the flights why he was holidaying and partying around those dates.....wee bit apprehensive to be honest. Anyways the weekend of the 15th would be ideal for me, working the weekend of the 1st though.
  19. Lovely colour, shame about the rear spoiler
  20. Yeah Rob but it does happen sometimes they issue a plate based on year of import as opposed to year of manufacture. There is a Integra DC2 back near my mums running around on a 03 plate which is about two years after they ceased production !
  21. Just wondering with the impending new of Setanta going down the pan - imminent within a few days if you believe the BBC and certain other media outlets - if anyone thinks it would be beneficial as a customer to cancel my subscription and cancel my direct debits with them ? Has anyone else done so ? Future looks bleak for them.
  22. Just wondering who on here has the youngest Supra on our shores ? I was looking high and low for a long time before i got mine and everything popping up predominantly 93-96 models. Only seen a handful of P and R registered models in my travels and one occassion i'm sure i saw a 2002 registeration but then again that could be a DVLA screwup.
  23. Alright guys cheers. Actually was my GF that noticed about two weeks after having the car as the stereo must always have drowned it out when i was driving. Mine is a 1999 model so maybe an added extra on the later imports ?
