  1. as a matter of fact jake my slippers have "beer mad" on the front and when i wear them i am a picture of toughness
  2. right carlos i'me back, it was p***ing down and my slippers are wet but in the name of research i toughed it out, seat back measures 48mm from the rear seat and is at an angle of 22 degrees, when i look at the steering wheel it is dead level with the top of the dash, my left leg is slightly bent allmost straight, however i am only 5ft 8", as we're pushing back the boundarys hear should'nt this post be in the technical section ??
  3. Carlos i am so inspired by your bizzare post i am off out to garage to have a "sit", normaly i would'nt go in for any of this kind of behaviour but a bottle of newcastle brown followed by a bottle of red has made me curious, back in a minute
  4. phew thanks for that mig, bought a set of 550's of CJ a while back who told me they drop straight in, panic set in for a minute there, sorry neil miss read your original post you will defo need restrictor mine is hitting 1.25 with one in at the mo with the cold weather
  5. yeah that happened to me as well, no posts, hit submit then bang loads of posts, you gotta be quick on the draw round here
  6. this subject is pretty much done to death if you do a search, but heres my limited knowledge power 550 cc injectors=roughly 550 hp colour of uk injectors= light purple mauve sought of fuel rail= will go straight in j spec resistor pack = yes, someone on the site used to do them, or contact the traders injector price= £150-£200 when they come up, or contact the traders one cat in will not need a restrictor ring a walbro and a fse certainly wont do any harm does the mines remove fuel cut ? if not you will need to sought that
  7. that is a definate problem mate i'me sure the traders on here could answer that better, mine had been in the uk since 1996 so had some uk history but the 3 years it spent in japan are a mystery, i'me sure you would get some warranty from a trader with a freshly imported car, this would go some way to easing your mind but if in doubt go for a car thats been in the uk for a while or again a uk spec
  8. hi Hadyn i came the same route that you are now proposing, my first "serious" car was an s13, i liked that so much i then got an s14, then a supe i have now owned it for 3 and a half years which is the longest i have ever owned a car i honestly can't think of any other car i would sell it for (without a lottery win), my car is a 93 import auto with 100 k miles, in that time i have changed the timing belt and tensioner, an ancillary belt pulley bearing, water pump, intercooler (primarily to go FMIC), everything else replaced has been performance replacements, they are fantastically reliable cars and very well put together, the performance over the 200sx is not to apparent in stock form up to about 30 mph but after that it is awesome, and when you go BPU it is totally awesome, my sx was starting to run out of legs at about 120 ish (i had it up to 135) whereas the supe pulls like a train all the way up to 150 (where your bottle go'es), the one thing i would have done different with hindsight is buy a uk spec then i would'nt of had to spend £1000 uprating the import brakes, service history with such a complex beast as a supe i think is vital, if it has good history forget the mileage, beware if the modding bug bites these can get very expensive cars, hope this ramble from an ex nissan owner helps
  9. i think this is the price you pay for last forever stainless exhausts they resonate at certain frequencys, i have a super dragger (mild steel, galv, drop to bits) with full de-cat and dont have any issues with noise just the worry that it will all fall to bits one day
  10. its not all bad mate i'me getting some bloody good fuel consumption figures 0 miles done=0 fuel used
  11. wow that r34 at the begining looks awesome, as does the jap bird further down verrrrrrrrrrry nice
  12. know how you feel mate mines languishing in the garage on axle stands with a blown power steering hose and no chance of a new one till the shops open, merry christmas
  13. yep just got the manual out fella, it states "do not tow for long distances and do not exceed 50 km/hr" so unless your just towing it round the corner i would'nt bother
  14. does'nt the manual say tow no more than 30 miles, i may be wrong and remembering a car from my distant past here, phone toyota they should know
  15. if i were in the shock market mate them teins off paul e look the dogs, dont know how they perform but they look a crackin price, thats about what you would pay for decent shocks and lowering springs anyway, maybe 4 might fall off santa's sleigh and drop down my chimney !!!
  16. think you may have to modify the bonnet and maybe loose the front strut bar to get that bad boy in, it might be a bit laggy too
  17. oh b****X i'me in the wrong forum, i wanted fast japanese motors not small japanese trees
  18. having done the belt myself, if you can get a price of £200 like the above guys i would say that is a fair price, its not a hard job just alot of messing particularly if the bottom pulley nut wont come off, see if you can get a fixed price
  19. as suspected i know nothing where abouts i'nt north west are you mate, come on you uk boys help the fella out with his perculiar uk bits
  20. presume you are talking about a uk spec car, if yes i'me f**ked and someone with a uk should be along shortly
  21. nice to know theres some more budget supras out there, and we're doing our bit for the environment by recycling
  22. dude, forgive my stupidity but how does the above work as it never seemed to change up just kept the same howling note all the way up the strip
  23. tank in situ, hope this helps, i'me pretty sure it was from a rover but out small enough to go in the gap will do
  24. off to the scrap yard young man, mine came out of a rover ! i think, push the battery as far as it will go towards the centre of the engine and you should have enough space between it and the wing, i think it cost £1, if you need a pic let me know
  25. yeah just watched it, and some journo with big ears said the supra had no style, handled like a milk float and tried to be a muscle car but never got there ...........twat the featured car looked nice though, red j-spec
