My engine was not cleaned probably since 1993 Just the odd wipe here and there With the Bikes WD40 is a favorite and ACF50 for corrosion resistance What to give it a deep clean and try maintain a reasonable clean bay , good to see any leaks I find in around the injectors she gets fairly dirty with grit/crap , as i have the TRD hood , she has open vents Unfortunately no air hose/ compressor It is in SITU , what products do you guys find good for cleaning/protection? Was looking at GUNK Green Engine degreaser/ AutoGlym engine cleaner

Tunnel , windows down , Supra single equals big smiles , I dont care about hp figs , noise , driveability , enjoyment you get from driving it TT Tubbies are 25 years old , it gets to a point things need a refresh , engine , suspension ... cars are a toy , not a financial investment ; it all comes down to question , if you want your Supra as a long term toy Here comes the man maths , What performance car would you get to even compare to the price of a refresh, VRT/Motortax in Ireland is ludicrous , a new M4 is 120.000 euro mark!! TT Tubbies are not financially viable to refresh, they come with a crib sheet as to why your warranty is void should they fail , single setup is more reliable , less complex , a wider range/cheaper parts available after the initial outlay Like Hemanhead has said , thinks can be bolted back on/ off Did I say it sounds awesome ! I will never sell the car unless they sky rocketed in price , is not going to happen in my life time!

  16. Thats my reservation too, but this Log over double the volume of other cast manifold kits ; maybe the sound of the kit is all good Price depending , SRD / whifbitz kit might be more cost effective with the exchage rate, shipping cost, taxes ...
  17. Will get the Turbo housing heat coated , they have made 1000 hp on the kit , as for power goal , I dont have any , just a fast responsive street setup I reckon the clutch should be ok , I can only get 95 octane fuel here ; it will not be crazy torque numbers

  24. I am going to fit the KW suspension shortly , is it worth replacing the OE top mounts? They are not cheap , i am not too sure if they are prone to perishing ? They are on there since 1993

Hi Chris , The piston was at the very end of the bore , I tried to move the piston but to no avail , gave it a little more pressure and it freed up with a rush of air ; it appears it was 'stuck' , may from storage and just need to be dislodged , when I try to push it now it will 'bounce' back towards the end of the bore Hopefully should be ok now
