  1. It sounds alot deeper , grumble, loud but a nice loud! Everybody hears you before you are coming , go through town or a built up area everybody wants you to rev it Small 3-5 year old childern love it lol just stop and stare , the induction on the carbs sounds fantastic , pops and bags from the air box on over run and some out the exhaust , really happy with it As she is on carbs and these are slip-on's to the link pipes , no fettling is required with jets but I am sure you could optimise it a bit more In terms of performance , to be honest she seems quicker , bit more instant , keeps on pulling but I am not too sure if this is the combination of the increased sound adding to the illusion , but she is happier with the open exhaust
  2. Have a few weeks on the Bike , my god lads , as a petrol head you have to get a Bike! Acceleration , speed and what you can get away with as opposed to a in a car here is ridicolous. I love the Bug has started New CNC Racing Parts arrived! Was busy again this evening
  3. Thanks, got it sorted Light bulb moment ripping it out
  4. Thanks for the relies! Can still get the greedy pipe , will order during the week
  5. I am happy with that , get it already Will it damage anything , I read the WRC cars do not but if you are refreshing your engine every few KM are you really bothered
  6. Can you remove the BOV altogether? I have grown out of the BOV sound
  7. Be nice to play with this! http://webshop.swindonpowertrain.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=68&product_id=65 Bosch ECU Application on BTCC Engine variant • Swindon Powertrain are continuing to finalise the application of a Bosch Motorsport MS6 ECU to a version of the British Touring Car engine. • Extensive calibration is currently being performed so that these engines can be installed with ease to various types of vehicle in a plug and play fashion. • These are due to be available for sale, compete with wiring harness, ECU and open calibration towards the end of the month.
  8. Out of curosity , why not sent it to Arnout in SupraSport , he has done some stunnning work on the Billet gearbox parts Did Luc not have whining after they built his?
  9. Pre facelift , red sleeve wire and brown connector goes to the hid voltage unit Hmmm , looks like the only part oe is the grey connector Assumed There is an oe grey male to hb4(brown connector) I am missing Will rip it out later , might all come apparent when I do Thanks for the Help
  10. Oe plug goes to the hid ballist, brown from the ballast goes to a hid bulb , I think I am missing an oe loom , connects to the grey oe block connector to a brown plug for the bulb
  11. Failed the NCT (MOT) on hid in a none hid headlight , got 11 years out of them , only failing now The car had them installed from Japan , does the end plug look adapted or can PNP into Low Beam Headlight Bulb 9006
  12. OS Giken, TRD is a dinosaur in tech comparison
  13. She pulls like a train , just after a few squirts , sometimes she doesn't seem to give the same kick I think I am up near 190k mileage , need to look at the odometer lol
  14. Will have a nose around , need her to cool down I replaced all the little fiddly vacuum rubber hosing last year with gates racing Thanks guys ! Just was curious about heat soak
  15. Thanks! They are new oe , as in a 1-2 years old
  16. She's a 93 , roughly 160K miles , BPU++; Things get old , and everything has a shelf life Maybe the hot weather but sometimes she feels a bit gutless, most of the time she pulls like a train ; today she was making a gushing noise (like trying to breath through your teeth), never heard before Anybody come across the gutless pulls at times?
  17. http://www.murraymotorsport.com/products/snap-off-quick-release-r1000-hub-fitment-fia I think it is a normal boss kit , the car came with the Odula unit from japan but had play in it so swapped out for the R1000 Tried the Sparco unit off Ebay , binned it ; too dangerous to use
  18. Most Sparco units are branded Sparco ebay items, not official Sparco units I would only recommend a FIA approved unit ,Life line, Snap-off I am using the Snap-off unit , fantastic piece of kit, I had a few other brands (Odula) and all had play in them
  19. Endless CCX (now mx72) I cannot fault , fantastic
