  1. i get a noticeable push at 4k!!! nice different noise too!!! Im sure my cars alive!! going slow... just touching throttle... HKS cone farts... lift off after half throttle it makes a huge gulping noise.. and general a loud sucking noise at all other times!!!

  7. i have bilstein coilovers on the front... i didnt fit them tho! Ride - good handling, not too harsh, and no banging and clattering... lowering... mine are set high just now.... cant be arsed wrecking the front!!!!
  8. yip... to my knowledge there the same pump..... but you'd hear no whineing if the pump was bugered check the tubes for blockages!! remove the t-piece from where it splits to the diff washers and test there.... narrow down the options etc
  9. Someone actually thought the switch was for NOS on sunday!! hahaha! little red switch that glows red when on!
  10. Right.... done it properly now! Swiped a washer bottle and pump from a Mk1 fiesta (nice shape for fitting behinf the drivers side suspension turret) wired it up to a wee switch by the handbrake!!! Pics will be soon.... once my sites back up!
  11. sorted i now why i was getting pish boost was 0.5 peak, now around 0.8bar
  12. cool.. the top pic has had a FCD mod done.... not a proper one like!
  13. just been looking on mkiv... looking at most posts to do with boost pressure etc.. noticed on one page...'fitting boost gauge' that the pipe to the gauge is plummed in here.... is this normal, or is mine wrong? from mkiv i have mine plummed in beside my BOV ?? as it said in the instructions! Will boost pressure be the same at both points?

  15. going by the tech articles on mkiv... i disconected hose two in the diagram below.... thinking it would have the same effect as fitting a t-piece with no valve... BUT - i got no gains in boost pressure at all! something up?
  16. Got my car back from the importers this afternoon, it went it to get the knocking/crunching suspension noise seen too! All the mechanics were new, and the guy that i dealt was no longer there either!! The mechanic that dealt with me looked about 18.... so i wasnt to optimistic on it getting fixed! BUT he sorted the suspension, replaced some air tubes (the ones that were split before (but not replaced!!!) The suspension - Turns out that the camber adjuster was upside down and another bolt was loose!
