what about the smoke tho? Im going to look over it tomorrow.... had a few beers now and its cold and dark and im feeling sorry for myself I hope its not the turbos! but i think it is

anyone else? How much are replacements, or Hybrids ? not wanting to spend big money on singles, new injectors/fuel rail etc!

Can someone please give me some symtoms of blown turbos!? I was going along, OD off overtaking some cars, funny noise - loss of power! no smoke tho.... so i though a popped hose.... Pulled over to fix, found nothing.... gave the throttle cable a blip... no turbo whine and now smoke out the rear Idle is very lumpy now too (would this normally be effected? unless blades are siezed or something??? ) HELP

i agree... my response was much the same as Justins I waited weeks and weeks to get back and fit the stuff.... all got done in two days Both Cats out - CW downpipe and HKS front SuperDrager On BoostCut removed Speed Limiter removed Wider Tyres On.... Fely like a diff car... was luvly for a day... then i need new plugs... Now its luvely again

The lower of the two sensors is tied out of the way for now..... Is that just the temp sensor then? and the O2 sensor is in the manifold?

Aye Aye... Ive now had all the CATs removed, but the replacement downpipe (ChrisWilson) didnt have a bracket for the sensor..... Is this normal? (cant see it being normal to not have the sensor in the pipe!) and what do you do with the sensor if so? PS > are there two sensors? 1 further up in the manifold?

ahhh..... i see what your getting at now!! I dont have an active spoiler, i dont have cruise, and my steerinf seems fine (didnt know i had speed sensitive steering tho ) Ok.... Looks like a TRL FCD and SLD then

Removing the trac fuse on a jspec auto speeds up the changes (not as smooth) and disables MANU mode... OD still works tho the limiter is still there

er.... right.. mine reads in mph just now, the millage is in miles.... so would i just go for the SLD from him?

right... i want a fuel cut defencor and and a speed limit defencor (60 and 70 from TRL) BUT what is the DSC (digital speed convertor) which has the SLD built in..... would i need that?

ok... seen the FCD (voltage) - 60 the SLD is 60.... but why, or will i need a DSC (100 inc the SLD)

I had probs like this too... if you do a search for knocking etc you'll find more info! Mine was a loose, or not tightend enough, bolt on the suspension arm

sorted it out!!! good old socket and big 'ammer i'll be buying locking nuts that you can get replacements for this time!!!

Yip... 50 is stamped on the outside of my black 16's impreza is 50mm the only diff is PCD 114.3 to 100 is that gap 'do-able'???

i s'pose yeh... is that its name tho? Some shite tried to half inch my 18's a week ago.... 3 nuts loose, 1 missing and the only one tight was the locking one!!!

Gauge Socket ???

Righto- I seemed to forget to pick up my locking nut (key thing socket) at the track last sunday!! Any ideas on how to remove the nut! Its a nut with a hollowed out centre and square grooves round the edge! I phonned the place i got them from... they were no help... telling me that the company didnt sell replacements!!! ( abit shocking if you ask me) They suggested hammering a socket over them or buying nome sort of 'skeleton key' nut type thing... It has pins that move etc... so it'l adjust to the shape of the locking nut! But i cant remember the name of it! started witha G!!!?!?!?! please help!!! i need it by sat morning!

STD 16" J-Spec 5 spokes... what offset are they? Are they the same front/rear? is PCD 114.3 ??
