  1. howd you get into the rear clusters? There looks liek 3 small screws and a bunch of clips... removed srews but clips wouldnt budge!!! I was wanting to spray the inside of the light silver

  3. Bleed Valve Im toying with the idea of fitting a bleed valve! I've searched the tech forum and found a few articles on the subject... BUT could someone just explain the process again I know the more air you 'bleed' off increases the boost, i also know its not the easiest way to control boost! Where do i put the T - piece? any pics? sorry, i put this on the end of another post!!! Doh

  5. is there an indicator in the headlamp unit? never really looked! if not..... its a legal requirement to have one upfront so.... where would i put it?
  6. only been out in it to get my dinner so... not yet oh... bumped into the same supra twice in 5mins.... thats about 5 times in 2 weeks ive seen it... must live near me.... i'll stop him and make him aware of this site!
  7. righto... bought 8ft of the larger diameter tubing, 1 90degree joint, and 1 twin (adjustable direction) nozzle Ive just plumed the tubing from the front, into the engine and upto the rear pasenger side of the engine (also removed noise deadning glasswool shit)... fixed the hose in a position with the 90degree 'elbow' on it... Right in the same position is where the washer jet tubing splits into two... i simpley disconnect before it splits and put my little detour in... waalaaa windscreen wipers are a bit annoying tho but that'll be sorted when i get time to fit the bottle and pump
  8. using halfords generic bits n bobs! Ive not set up a seperate bottle n' pump yet.... just have a joint i swith over to when i want to use it.... hot 1/4mile days.... new bottle/pump and switch to follow soon
  9. not too worry.... its going in to the importers i got it from on tuesday! Seeing about the knocking, fuel stink and possible brake disc skimming
  10. righto had the drivers side wheel off (sounds feels like it coming from there) There was one nut missing and all but the locking nut were finger tight (looks like some radge has had a go at them) Still caried on looking for the prob tho... I couldnt find any loose bolts around the susp arm! Which bolt is normally the culprit? Couldnt get the psgr side wheel off..... need an extending wrench or some spinach
  11. hmmm, i get around the same mileage.... but there is a definate petrol smell coming from somewhere..... not out the exhaust, but from the engine.... dont notice it at idle, only when moving slowly with the windows down

  13. How many mile sdo you get to your tank (roughly 60litres yeah?) under normal, everyday driving It just ive been noticing a petrol smell every now and again.... anyone else?
  14. only really notice the knocking when parking etc... The driver side fron seems to lock for a wee bit under heavy breaking And yes... the discs are warped how much for just the front disc/calipers etc... they should clear 18's yeah!?
  15. i get a loud knocking when braking... even at slow speeds! and ideas? seized caliper? also the bloody splash gaurd on the offside wheelarch has come loose and is rubbing on the wheel!! they took a big pounding on the track on sunday... s'pose that raises the question... (as i need new pads, and the discs are like those strange disco crisps) How much for UK spec?
  16. to anyone else with one..... do you get oil 'splatter' marks where its blown off?
  17. had a quick look tonight... the seal seems to be very tight under the headlights! BUT do you have a seal running down between the wing and bonnet?
  18. hahah The headlights will be out for a while on sunday, so i'll investigate possible gaps etc then. also, im going to refurb them soon.... has anyone sprayed the insides black with a silver car? if so... what does it look like? good/bad, any pics?
  19. Yip! i also, later on, pulled the two fuses at the topmost of the 2nd coloumn... marked 1/2.... car still started fine after wasnt the best night to try it out tho... arse going everywhere!
  20. ok My HKS cone was mounted resting on the bottom.... i'll mount it higher this time so it doesnt soooook up the water
  21. hmmmm, i went by the guide on the underside of the fuse lid!! oh well, i'll have another looksee in a min, prob looking the wrong way or something!!! ignore the ECU bit on my pic then
  22. shit just r'bered my Q!!! Yip both my OD and TC lights flash, BUT does MANU still work? it doesnt light up.... i never tried to find out after pressing it tho.... just pressed it again to switch it off....
