  1. Yeah that mine! Dont think ive ever seen yours driving around just sat on the drive lol
  2. I see your supra all the time, i am assuming you live just opposite the rimswell pub and park it on the drive most times?
  3. Feel sorry for the "lucky buyer"
  4. I was in a similar situation to you when I was first deciding which supra to go with; I initially went with a manual SZ-R (step up from a A4 1.8t). For a non-turbo engine it’s pretty damn fast if you’re not familiar with big power cars, however I really did miss the pull of a turbo. As a result I soon got TT urges and after a long time of looking I found a nice 6 speed in great condition so thought what the hell!. For me the difference between the two is astounding when I first went on a test drive it really made the non turbo feel slow in comparison. I’ve never driven a supra with the auto box but always dismissed them due to personal preference, for me a Manual is the only option, an auto would just be a disappointment IMO. If you have concerns over which model to go for id recommend the turbo, a non-turbo might make you happy in the short term but if your anything like me you will always want a bit more. Selling my non-turbo was a hassle; luckily I sold mine just as the markets started dropping so didn’t lose too much money. Hope this helps, Chris
  5. Another point to consider is that blu-ray has won the HD format war and as a result will become the High Definition standard; HD DVD has been dropped as far as i am aware. IMO it wouldn’t make sense to buy an Xbox which offers technology which in time is going to be pretty much obsolete. Buy a PS3, its one of the reasons I bought mine, I still play GT5 Prologue regularly.
  6. No its not chilly in September lol, as long as you dont get tropical storms i would have thought it would be in the 30's
  7. that would rule out most of Cuba and the Dominican Republic then, most of the resorts are beach bound. How about Cancun? Great beach and loads to do during the day and night, very hot as well.
  8. Would recommend going to Cuba its a great place, I wouldn’t worry to much about the weather I went about two years ago in August and the weather was fantastic, sunny every day, not a drop of rain. I stayed in Cayo Coco which had beaches and a sea to die for but had little in the form of out of the resort entertainment etc. However there are plenty of excursions to do such as visiting Havana for a few days (recommend this, as it was fantastic) I’ve just booked to go to Dominican Republic for June this year, staying in Bavaro after hearing lots of good things about the place. With the way the euro is at the moment the Caribbean is a good choice

    Snow

Never had a problem with snow and the supe, i find it performs very well in the snow considering.
  10. i saw this tonight on my way home tonight
  11. i would be up for a meet, free most weekends given enough notice
  12. Thats shocking, the "leather seats" look like very bad fitting seat covers. What a waste of a supra
  13. what a hideous spray job, poor UK spec
  14. Looks like something off a caravan, lovely looking car otherwise
  15. I see where your coming from if you have set your heart on keeping the supra thing why not go for an aristo? same engines but I would imagine they are a much comfier drive
  16. whats the point if you have a tt? are you not wanting to put loads of miles on the tt? cost of running it wont be that much different from a tt
  17. fair question considering the way fuel has being going up recently, i only really use my supra for short trips and get around 20-25 mpg depending on how heavy my foot is lol. On the motorway id estimate it around the 28-30 range (thats cruising in 6th, no boost).Hope that helps
  18. Had very similar dilemma to yourself recently my mach 3 blade was on its last legs and it was my last blade so went to Asda to buy new blades. Was totally shocked at the price of blades (usually get blades for Christmas but didn’t this year ) then i saw the fusion was on offer and actually cheaper than the mach3 blades, and as a plus the razor came with 2 blades - Bonus. In my opinion its a much nicer shave with less irritation, would recommend you making the move. p.s i got the non powered one, my dad had the mach 3 power and said it made no difference whatsoever.
  19. do a search most of these questions have been asked plenty of times. Have you ever driven a rwd car before? if not then the tt is gonna be a bit of a handful till you get used to it. However both the n/a and the turbo can catch you out when you least expect it. In my opinion (bias, never drove a auto) would say go for the manual. where about in yorkshire you from?
  20. Let me guess your friend hit a patch of oil?
  21. Doesn’t matter once you have the cash for your car
