  1. side exit exhausts are interesting, the rest looks tacky trying to nick ideas from about 3/4 expensive cars (astons/m3's etc). Just IMO though.... Brought to you by the people who thought veilside style kits look good on saxo's?
  2. In standard form theirs about 100bhp between a NA sup and a GTR i believe, so not surprised he breezed past (220 v's 300 and something?). Fight between a TT and GTR would be about even in standard form i think, as they are both big lumps kicking out about the same power.
  3. The one outside the pub in weymouth: Black one in salfords nodded at me as we passed in opposing traffic cues Anyone on here?
  4. I know celebrities arnt the sharpest of tools, but if you murder someone surly the last place youd leave them is in YOUR pool for the pool guy to find in the morning
  5. http://www.bodgitnscarper.com? Who ever did that shouldnt be allowed near such nice cars Looks like they have butchered what was once a very nice exhaust, who the hell welds steel hangers on a stainless exhast, youd atleast cover them in heat paint to stop them rusting in the first five mins, sheer crulty to exhausts Id be asking for i to be put right.
  6. Wouldnt mind knowing a price on these, i dont have the cats for mine so would be handy to fit and forget!
  7. Theres a few wild ones down this way as well, a girl mate of mine followed one along their road late one night, it happily bounced along infront for about 30 yards before diving into a bush
  8. I recon they should swap their other two kids for a holiday behind bars for leaving the kids alone. I truly hope the girl is found alive and well, but half of me thinks if shes alive, well and being looked after, shes probably better off than she was!
  9. Ive owned two sx's, and mr2 and now the supra. The sxoc and this forum are by far the most friendly two on the web. Safe to say ive been put off mr2 ownership partly because of the whole mr2 "scene". These days i think the owners clubs are a huge part of the owning experience, and can make or break it So far i have no complaints about supra ownership
  10. ive got my rad plate if the weather holds ill fit it this evening. looks good.
  11. Add some FG to the back of the cracked area, its probably cracked because its stressed/flexing. I had the same problem with my bonnet, we had to take a grinder to the gel coat to get it all off, wipe with acitone to soften up the old FG and give it somethingt o stick to, and lay a few sheets of glass over. Solid as a rock now. All youll then have to do is sand, fill sand/paint the outside
  12. i had "flash git!" muttered at my by some random woman waiting at the side of a junction the other day, didnt think it was really called for as id slowley driven up to the junction and sat there waiting. Its envy mostly i think....
  13. Has anyone popped a set of K-sport 330mm 8-pot brakes on a supra yet? http://www.ksport.co.uk/products.asp?f=brakes They seem to be the same as the D2 8 pots kicking about... and seems a good price compared to the KAD ones etc. Anyone know if they fit under UK spec wheels (jap car with uk specs on) as i really dont need to be buying new rims as well, that gets reeeeeeeally expensive i really want to get on track at a couple of events this year but i dont trust my jap spec brakes in the slightest.
  14. Spotted you just leaving the duel carrage way off the M23 about 10pm this evening, went off to town somewhere, anyone on here?
  15. So not only are we going to have a massive expensive GPS system, were going to have a nation wide network of cameras just to make sure the gps system is working Watch number plate theift go through the roof
  16. Im still struggling to see how this will work... Why couldnt you just turn the box off and drive.... it cant stay on all the time surly as it would drain the battery, and what if you needed to disconnect your battery, would a police man turn up 5 mins later and haul you away on suspicion of fraud? How would it differentiate between me say working on my car for 2 hours, or doing a 2 hour round trip with it off and reconnecting it... What about when you go through long tunnels..... Questions questions, all comes down to money though, they COULD do the environmentally friendly thing and get everyone off the road, but then they wouldnt have any money, conflict of interest!
  17. Every 2 weeks IIRC. Will try not to be ill next time
  18. I won't be there now, rather ill at home
  19. Not sure if this is "officially" back on or not, but as i still regularly cruise about SXOC, they are going tomorrow (22nd) and they are normally in cahoots with the security/owners as they like to stay on the right side of the law Anyone fancy it? be good to meet a few of you in zee area
  20. Mines a daily driver, but i only work 3 miles away, so i have to find a long way to go to actually warm the oil up but beats walking or being knocked off your bike.

    Number plates

youd be amazed what you can get away with. i drove out of castle combe on saturday with my SMIFFAD number plate on, straight past a police man with a speed camera in his hand! Didnt bat an eye lid

    Number plates

Ive had 30x10 cm plates on my last three cars, dont know wether its coincidence but two were infact imports and never caused me any grief, my sx however had a very snotty officer of the law having a pop at me about it. let me off with a stern "i know where you live, get it changed! though I think as long as your back plate is properly legal, they are a little more forgiving. my current front one is "nearly" legal from an import point of view, further helped by it fitted exactly on the plate mount Fancy plates is a good place to get them done.
  23. Sounds like your sorting it, who was driving it on the track? you or someone else? I was stood watching the car drift by the second set of s's, was going very well
