    women

I can see the headlines now: "Women hit on in male dominant car site shocker...." Unless he was obscene or rude in these PM's id say we'er all overreacting a bit here, put thy pitch forks away! Ive had GF's who have been into their cars, they were always getting PM's from blokes on sites, its going to happen. They either just said sorry not interested or deleted it. No one was chased through the streets or burnt.
  2. I had a look round that last night, it was in the middle of crawley while i was out Take the stickers off it would be a nice car. Dunno what their aim is with it, but if its to pull women, it certainly seems to work! the two coppers were absolutly surrounded
  3. Awsome isnt it My last flat only had a shower, so only managed baths when i stayed at my folks, was one of the main deciding factors on my new flat, nice big bath cant beat it when your aching.
  4. I managed 300 miles on about £60 last week.... cruise control limited to 66mph is a god send on long journies if you want to save some fuel Normally just about crack 200, but that includes a lot of town driving to work.
  5. mmmm yummy..... Youd certainly move over if you saw that coming up behind you on a motorway
  6. I get it now its explained, and im slightly worried i didnt spot that.... i am dyslexic thought so possibly good i spotted at least 3
  7. Yeah no hurry - i have to find a way of picking it up if i go for it anyway (Are you a student in lufbra? thats where i went)

    the horror

I saw this at the kent show.... although it looks like hes ram raided the veilside factory and asticker shop, the quality of the install is actually very very good (from memory). Boy has skills, he just needs to put them to better use - possibly just building something someone else designed
  9. I am very interested in this.... can you lob some piccys up? Whats the state of the paint work like? stone chips etc. Looking for a standard one to replace me appauling GRP one with
  10. BK's, cant quite remember the model but a friend of mine has them on his SX
  11. Whats technically legal and what policeman think are two separate issues. At the end of the day its hassle, which is why ive put my full size plate back on
  12. Just be aware that all police forces are cracking down on number plate size, IE anything that isnt regulations billboard size.... they even complain abotu import plates. Ive been running a small plate for years and got tugged twice last week for it, in two different counties Its due to all the number plate reading technologies having problems with them. I am guessing they are in the initial stage of this, as both times i got away with a "reccomendation" to change it, sure they will start issuing on the spot fines soon enough.
  13. I spect youd like an engine that works though If your going to batter it get an s13, weld the diff up and go enjoy, they do drift awsomly
  14. Why do we pay road tax..... Because if we dont our cars get crushed... thats about the only reason. They could save themselves some money on printing, and just call it "Tax" to be honest. Main reason for the state of the roads though isnt underspending, its over spending on monkeys. Contractors tend to be paid by the job, so they rush through the day doing a half arsed job, and get paid more than most of us could dream of. THEN it all has to be done again as its sunk....
  15. The reason they cost a bit more on SXOC is because they have been looked after. There are a vast number of dogged ones out there now that you should avoid as they are coming to the end of their natural life
  16. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=128628 They arnt that hard to come by, GOOD ones are getting rarer, the one above is a good one
  17. Hi, i doubt she will be interested in a part ex due to circumstanses. The car was red, piccy of it attached, only thing thats changed since then is the colour i believe, although ive not seen it since the respray. Might be seeing it on friday so i can get some better pics possibly. Ill PM you her email address, you can ask her yerself what she wants
  18. Anyone after an sx? Rare one too, they never made Black s14's in the UK. This is my old one, sold in march to buy the supra. The current owner is a good friend of mine, and has sprayed the car black and done very few miles in it since taking her on. Be good to see her go onto someone who will look after her, i spent 2 years getting her to where she was and lavishing care on the old girl. The owner before me was an SXOC bod as well, so shes been very well looked after. Currently on flebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180172556631&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Fquery%3D180172556631%26MfcISAPICommand%3DGetResult%26ht%3D1%26ebaytag1%3Debayreg%26srchdesc%3Dn%26maxRecordsReturned%3D300%26maxRecordsPerPage%3D50%26SortProperty%3DMetaEndSort%26fvi%3D1
  19. Been going on for years and has made less progress than an asmatic snail trying to climb a greesy pole... All their emails are now stright in the junk mail. "Ben" or what ever his name is seems to have over looked one small factor - the sellers of fuel make a very small margin per litre in comparison to the government. So any savings they could offer would be so small youd probably burn the difference just driving to that particular filling station. Furthermore, i dont see the government being too keen to offer a discound sceme - so its a monumental waste of time. Complete load of botox
  20. Thats a hell of a watch Youd think for that sort of money they'd have put the numbers on right though Oh and happy birthday.
  21. The day "i never see any other supras around here" and i spot three in the space of abotu 3 miles! 1) silver one driving in K2 direction, with a space saver on the back. 2) Blue uk spec one i see around, dont think hes on here. 3) Red one heading towards tesco.
  22. Elephant are great if you dont intend to crash or mod your car much. Its a case of you get what you pay for, they are cheap yes, but youll probably get taken to the cleaners if you crash, you wont get agreed value or like for like on mods. But it gets you the basics of insurance you need to drive, which is what most of us want. Ive been with them for years as like you when i was 21 i found it hard to find decent quotes. Even now (26, 5YNCB, no crashes/points) they are about half the price of the "specialists" whos only speciality seems to be dragging money out of people. IMHO only bother with them if you have a monumentally special car - if you have a realitivly standard supra, seriously dont bother. Deffinatly add your mum to your policy as a named driver, took £100 off mine Insidently adding my dad put £2 back on Both have clean licenses and are just over 60.
  23. Thats the only photo i can find, ill agree to dissagree, all of the vid footage on ITV showed it clear. Nay mind... try or not they still played better than us IMHO, well done SA. (Im only pissed as i now need to buy a new umbrella, cant really walk around with "ENGLAND, world rugby champs" written on it now )
  24. They should build the sodding things properly then
  25. His foot wasnt in touch... if you watch the vid of it happening he lifted his leg before his foot reached the line Ball on ground, foot in air.....
