  1. Been looking at fitting a carbon fibre arch kit, bolt on style not blended, I've seen one before on jurgens site?? Can't see to find anyone who makes or sells them? Any help would be great! It's looking like possibly getting a veilside arch kit and getting them rapped ? But the real deal would be better ;-)
  2. I love my insurance, 13 years no claims, clean license 33 years old cars garaged 80% time...... Last insurance wouldn't renew due to to many mods! Now with Adrian flux agreed value of 15k every mod declared £833 :-(
  3. Its no issue for someone that knows what there doing fella, if there doing a proper job I would just blow in the rear bumper and 1/4's to match out then just lacquer out the panels, if the repairs to close to the doors same would have to apply to them aswell I'm affrad ;-)

    Tyres

Good luck with the 45's.... Yikes! You will be lucky to fit any tyre over a 30 on the rears 35's on the fronts. Most people with the right offsets and stock arches with a little help from 2-3mm wheel spacers get 245/35/19's on the fronts and upto 295/30/19's on the rears!
  5. Love it, one of the best original supras glad to see its getting a new lease of life again, top work jamesy ;-)
  6. I had a very similar problem which turned out to be the accelerator cable sticking, as I had to relocate it with going single. When it got hot it started to stick, from the heat from the turbo!!! I had to buy a new one slightly relocate it and insulate the arse out of it..... Its been perfect ever since.
  7. It's not to bad I've had worse that's for sure with lower cars, I guess it's all down to the suspension u use and wheel sizes, Personally the 19" wheels fit the arches well and raise the car up, if I put a set of 17s on with low profile tyres it would be sat on the ground.....lol
  8. Jaimes car is about performance, Im sure that with everything Jaime has done all the time a wire tuck would be seriously in practical! I don't see the point unless it's a show and shine car, I'm sure I'm the same as Jaime and it's all about the drive for him, and too right, it's one of the best supra in the uk ;-)
  9. Little vidio from the otherday, unfortunately there's quite a long bend so didn't go full out until the straights at that speed! http://i1257.photobucket.com/albums/ii507/mattshrewd/0b61ebc4.mp4
  10. Thx again for the comments guys it's been a pretty painfull year and the love was almost lost!! Just waiting on the AEM bits to arrive to finish the water inj system off. Just ordered a new complete HKS 2nd decat and exhaust system from lee (cheers mate) to finish off the job and get that final map by Ryan on the 12th July ;-) Hoping for the 550bhp ++ and probably the craziest/instant torque curve ever seen on a supra fingers crossed! The end is in sight finally I'm just enjoying driving it at the moment, the low down torque even on a safe 500ftlb map is insane on the spool and acceleration, been leaving everything for dust recently! I did have the chance to take it down to an airfield and open her up last week got straight to 180mph++ the 40 to 120mph mark is just great! I've got some videos but wasn't sure about putting them up.....lol
  11. Yeah that looks like it mate, when I said one off I did mean for the garage selling it ;-) That's pretty expensive with shipping I bet!!
  12. It was a one off sample i think from the states, I've never seen another so guess the design or cost never took off over here !
  13. Went to a classic car meet last night and a photographer sent me these this morning so thought I would share ;-)
  14. That's well impressive, crazy how things have moved forward!
  15. 1490kg oh ok I'm not very light then, cheers for finding out mate. The more I keep thinking though the more I keep remembering, got the rear wiper motor removed and all the carbon fuel filter and got a light weight crank pulley...lol I guess alot of little items can add up to quite a loss?
  16. Spare wheel, rear belts, one turbo also removed ;-)
  17. Add to that aircon removed and the sports rad was half the weight of the stock one!
  18. Firstly I did only have a quarter in the tank, but was just thinking that Jaime? I mean I've changed alot on the car, fair amount of carbon parts, interior is stripped but do have a small sub and amp, but that was just under weight for weight from the rear seats! I guess wheels are lighter etc? Not really sure Jaime!
  19. Ok kool, just realised I was in the car....lol And I'm 98kg so it's actually 1422kg! Dime bar!
  20. I was up at the farm today and thought I would put the supra on the weigh bridge for a giggle! Came in at 1520kg, now my car has been on a slight diet over the years but I thought stock surpas were 1700kg+?? Does anyone know the stock weight actually is and am I lightweight ....lol Any info would be great guys Cheers
