  1. Me to fingers crossed mate ;-)
  2. Hey up abz, I was gutted I couldn't make it this year, it was my little boys 1st birthday so I had no chance :-(
  3. The HKS gt30r is actualy a hybrid with a 56mm turbine and gt37 compressor, I'm running a 1.06 ar housing to prevent any surge which has been superb with the HKS 264 in/ex cams, the low down torque is just unreal! Yeah I'm prob being too optimistic Jaime, but ash and Ryan both think I'm good for at least another 50bhp+ from the existing map, I'm just hoping the water inj will do the job to allow the boost increase ;-)
  4. Changed the complete exhaust system, had a custom downpipe section fabricated so it's pretty much a straight through system with zero restriction, also gone for a water injection system to aid the higher boost levels! Wish I could but I'm away on holiday and my cars in the safe hands of ash and Ryan at garage 786 ;-)
  5. Jokes aside I know my set up in japan has been good for over 600bhp, it's all been down to the boost levels! On my last map Ryan had pretty big concerns about my EGTs after 1.4bar so wasn't happy with the set up, ive now rectified these issues and hope we get closer to 1.6bar+! I know my set ups been good for 1.8 on similar cars around the world, but we will see ;-)
  6. As many of u guys know I've had my car to bits doing the single conversion and after what's probably the best part of two years ryan's doing the final map on Tuesday! I aimed for a good quality single set up with the least amount of lag and maximum torque, basically a 500rwhp street set up! After thousands being spent fingers crossed on Tuesday I'll have the results I've been after! I will prob have one of the smallest single turbos out there but have one of the quickest cars of the mark, it's been pretty painful to say the least..... Roll on tuesday that's all I can say ;-) I'll keep u posted on the results, but I'm well excited to see if we get close to the 600bhp with all the mods I've done ;-) it's honestly become a personal challenge from all the negative response I've had from using such a small turbo, hopefully I'll finally prove people wrong with the crazy torque results....lol
  7. Lol...money? Fella I've no idea, I've not worked the streets in ages? Xx
  8. There would defo be no issues with pressure, my only concerns would be the bore size and flow rates as the aircon rad is designed for gas not fluids! Not sure the auto box would like it at all?
  9. To be honest, from the pics your spoiler isn't that low mate! There's alot of spoilers out there on the Market far lower than yours. I would suggest maybe a painted stock lower spoiler, but not sure it's any higher than what u have? Just be more careful when driving and keep that one, btw car looks great ;-)
  10. I think good advise is to buy good quality components from the go I.e turbo kit, ecu for example. Costs alone with out labour for an average single is easy between 6-10k. Your main concerns are the stock auto box so the first important thing to get is a good mappable ecu like a syvecs or aem series 2 so u can get a proper safe map between gear changes. Secondly get someone like Ryan g to map the auto who knows what there doing!! Thirdly get a massive oil cooler for the auto box, new filter and fluids and your about as good as u can be for a 500bhp/500lbft set up! I've learnt from experience it doesn't pay in the long run to try and do things cheaper!! Do it once.....do it right ;-)
  11. I Can't wait to see what figures Ryan's going to get on the final map now the works finished ;-) It's taken long enough that's for sure ! 600bhp here we come.....lol ;-)
  12. I'm bidding on a few similar cars, big engined rear wheel drive, BMW 325i is on the cards! I'm not getting another civic, to much for the little engines to handle abuse all day, I was gutted when my one gave in last year at dinner time!'
  13. It's a day of racing, a mixed bag, endurance, speed, off road and track!! Do it once a year, on a private farm! Max 4 people a team £250 max per car, do what u want to it....lol A v6 mondeo won last year, I had a civic but head gasket went half through the day :-( All a good bit of fun really, but trying to get ready early this year.....this is war!
  14. Great results Jaime, bang on the money then! Must have a quicker spool than the previous set up, and lower down torque surely?? I secretly thought u were hoping for some higher boost, I take it 2bar was the limit it could spool at? Still crazy mate, hope u enjoy it ;-)
  15. Looking to purchase a fast bag of shite, no mot or tax needed! Come on what have u guys got laying about on your drives or under the hedge that u want to sell me!!! As long as it drives thats all im bothered about, Hard cash waiting....lol
  16. Linney.org it's a uk operator dealing with US auto parts if I remember 107 dollars an arch ;-)
  17. The links are on my iPad I'll fish them out tonight, they were something like gt1?
  18. I'm thinking I may of sourced these ones from the USA version of knightracer....lol Prob not genuin !!
  19. Yeah the normal ones are different, but it does even say on the veilside website the cf ones need to be shaped?
  20. I think you have got a little confused fella! The over fenders are all the same shape, so u have to cut each one around for example the rear bumper or spat ! Same for the front you have to cut the shape for your skirts or body. I have no intention of painting or blending anything mate, for the exact reasons you just said... I love the carbon fibre on silver cars ;-) I'll have no problem with cutting them and shaping them, I had my own bodyshop for 10 years ;-) Just never cut it before that's why I asked, done hundreds of fibre glass kits etc.
  21. I've sourced some of the veilside cf over fenders as the yanks call them for 107 dollars each, but does appear there bolt on but theres only one part no for all 4 so I'm guessing there all the same and there's some serious amount of moding envolved for the front and back!!! I think I'm going to order them, but has anyone tried cutting and filling cf before, if it's anything like fibre glass u could easily foooke them up, will the crack???
  22. im going cf mad tonight!! Just sorted out a cf tailgate and perspects rear screen, ive almost orderd the veilside cf over fender kit twice now, but keep worrying about the discription that they need trimming etc.....sounds like an exspensive fail to me.......lol Im going to keep on looking see if theres any other kits out there? Thx for all the info guys, some crazy shit i never even knew about until today, cheers.
  23. Cheers guys, that's the kit ;-) Just seeing if u need veilside side skirts for them to fit proper. Looks the bollox thought !!!
  24. I'm right in thinking though the veilside arches are designed to be bonded on and blended no? Or are they bolt on ?
