  1. I have a stock sub but no amp I don't think. But my sub doesn't work. So that's prob why. And. Yeah I have no head unit ether but when I did it never worked. I'll have to get it working. Can't be too hard
  2. im im. will have to get the car ready though. better start now so i dont run into the same issue i had last year
  3. I had 6 or 6 changer. Don't remember which in my first supra. Should have never sold that car it was full of rare bits
  4. all the interiors of skylines iv been in have felt cheep as chips :S
  5. My uk spec had fmic pipes and stock air box too This is the best pic I have though
  6. Yep it's great for me as I can drop it off and walk to work.
  7. Brackmills body repair might be able to get it out mate. That's where I like my car. Or is it brackmills body shop. Something like that. Owner is a nice chap too. And good work for a nice price. He likes supras too
  8. Especially from those muppets though I guess it's made it this far without catching on fire because the fuel lines are not leaking so must at least have been looked after by someone
  9. untill i see something official from toyota... it doesnt exist. i must have seen 10 "new supra" things. none of them look similar. that one looks a bit dated compared to modern styling too.
  10. problem is id pay out for one then once iv taken it off the first time never put it back on i use the car at least once a week when it works. and im too lazy to put in on each time
  11. not much wrong with it. i think it needs a new idle control valve as it starts them imediately stalls. then iflattened the battery trying to start it. then the tax ran out so i put it off the road. havent had time to get it working since. Dont wanna put a cover on it as they seem to harm the paint.
  12. its probably been oh... 6 months. but it doesnt start at the moment. I hate cleaning cars so cant take it to be washed and dont see the point washing it for it to just get dirty again and its not mildew it was just water inside its lovely
  13. Truly terrifying to some members on here
  14. dvla dont need to know about any mods in the uk they are just interested in who owns the car. Tell the insurance people what the bhp is. if its 400 then its 400. i alwasy tell them the higher number. cant realy help on the market value of the car unfortunately, and it would depend from one car to another. And its different over there. id say add the value of the parts, half it, then add it to the value of bying a stock supra? Just a wild guess. Or look for a similar car for sale. for example stockk tt (a nice one) £8000 - parts for single conversion with decent parts (£12000), other misc mods, seats, bodywork £3000 so. £15000/2=£7500 £7500+£8000 = £15500 you can easily get a single for that http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?294428-Single-6-speed-facelift-500BHP-%A310-000 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?297520-single-turbo-aerotop http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?277223-UK-6-Speed-Single-%28converted-from-auto%29
  15. Only had experience of stock, hsd and hks hypermax. I wouldn't touch the hks ones. Unless you like a car with no suspension. So stiff even small bumps would cause the rear to loose traction. Suppose they are fine on tack but not on a road car. Hsd on a soft dampening setting were great. But I've gone back to stock. Sure the ride height is a little high. But it's more comfortable
  16. Iirc I used tap. But it didn't hold well. My new car has a facelift bumper so doesn't need it. But I'll be fitting a pre facelift soon and probably screwing it in
  17. 3 options drill some holes Use a self tapping screw Shave the nubs off the end and use that tape you stick number plates on with
  18. iv got one like this that im in the process of repainting
