  1. I wasn't a fan of the new car.... Till I saw this photoshop... Colouring the front middle bit black realy improves it for me. This I would buy!
  2. Was just a thaught. You always get a couple of people who drop out because they can't go. Always makes me think why did you buy tickets then.
  3. Me 2. I booked time off work ages ago. My wife came up with an interesting idea. As it's so popular. As soon as it's announced there will be a dragonball but the details have not been confirmed. Time, date, no hotels or train booked yet etc. Yet people are flexible enough to confirm they will attend. And can or are willing to pay a decent amount up front. Say £150. That's non refundable. They should then be garenteed a place. Me for example. I have the money available and can get time off work without issue. I without a doubt want to go, regardless of where we are going to. Id happily pay up now for a ticket for next years dragonball if I could. You could go further and say you could only do the above if you have been to say the last 2 consecutive trips? It might remove the lottery rush element of people getting into the 2 min window before they sell out. And also allow people to book who know they can go 100% then we don't get people dropping out and having to sell the tickets. An official waiting list might be a good idea. If you miss out on the tickets. Reply to this thread then we have some record who should be offered any tickets first rather than who happens to see the for sale thread. Just a thaught
  4. I've got 10.5 hours of work to go but I'm keeping my eye on this thread
  5. Hope I can remember to make it when the weather is at least a little nicer. And the car is working again and painted. Going to the garage on Friday for cam gears fitting and getting other bits fixed
  6. Yeah you can get em from Toyota. I got one years ago. Think it was 20-30 quid. They only had some colours available though. But easily painted Need to mod a few holes in the bumper tho
  7. Ts made a splitter that fits. Very rare though. I've seen a gt300 car without one and I know what you mean. You could make one out of some flat sheets of carbon as iirc it's just a flat sheet with some virticle fins
  8. bad time of year. too much right foot. not enough tyre. those are probably your problems 300bhp more than my bpu car all wasted because it was just spinning it all away. you need sidewall for more give in the tyre. and low pressure to give it more flex to grip better. 19s with rubber band tyres just dont have that. the same reason they dont ride or handle very well. so even in summer you might not get further
  9. Dunno if thats against the rules :S i think it always was for suprapod :S But if i can id appreciate it.
  10. I figured this might happen which is why i was keen to get in first off. the next set is while im away well. more accurately probably on the train home if they are inthe evening again. guess ill have to wait for the last batch. But im on another set of 12 hour day shifts after that so i dont get home till 7:30. so if they are released at a similar time im still screwed. So likely i could miss those to. I know you cant please everyone branners and you guys work hard. because i have witnessed it. and we are all gratefull. and you have jobs and families as you say. But so does everyone else. Lol. Flip of the coin i suppose and im just getting unlucky.
  11. great. i come online 5 mins before they are about to go on sale and they are already sold out... bit of a piss take. especialy as i start a night shift tonight at 6:45... if they are supposed to go on sale at 6:30 put them on at 6:30 not before I feel royaly shafted. i know there are more coming but im going away in a few days and no doubt will probably miss them again. im pissed off already and they are not even on sale yet.... apparently.
  12. Wish they would stop making everything look like a f1 car... That "new supra" (which it isn't by the way, nobody official I've seen has even mentioned the word supra it's just the media) is as ugly as hell. Will probably (going off what little they have released so far) be too expensive (like the lfa but not the same league) Also. Look at the length and drop off on the nose of the car. There is no way you would be able to see the front corner. You need one of those sticks sticking up from the corner that truckers have. Or you would bump it whenever you tried to park
  13. been to curborough years ago. tad small for supras realy. i used to go to japmids meets up in leicester all the time. but since they stopped there has been very little to go to realy add me to the list. White 95 gt35r 6 speed single. Northampton
  14. i enjoyed them too and it wasnt too far away. evening was ok but it prevents people coming from further away as they might need to work next day
  15. I know plenty that didn't go. Myself included Not everyone with a supra joins this club.
  16. Been through this before They are all registered under different things Mine is registered as "supra turbo", which a lot of mk3's would be as well. my uk was registered as "supra auto turbo" iirc. Others seem to be other things. So the site is never accurate
  17. Yeah you would have to chop the hell out of a stock bonnet with the hump or an aftermarket doluck anyway. But looks great. That charger looks huge
  18. Yes. Pre facelift reprinted/refurbed Facelift lights have 3 chrome rings. One for each light. This is missing the big one. Additionally the black is too dark. Facelift lights are more dark grey than black.
  19. Every na owner I talk to is going na-t or tt. Nobody is ever happy. "Yeah it's just stock at the moment but I'm going turbo next year" The number of times I've heard that over the years... I loved my na. Manual, LSD. It was lovely. And it was my first big engine car, Wish I'd kept it and changed the engine. But my first tt was bpu and frankly scared me... In a good way.
  20. 1 person has. You need a lot of fiddle time. Knowledge and patience for it. I think it's taken David about 2 years so far. But his is a bit more complex. It's far from a bolt on option. A lot is custom adapted to fit. Not an easy job. Check the build thread when you have a few days spare
  21. YeH it's great if you have a bone stock car you never use. But who here has that? Not many
