  1. Hi guys, this might sound a bit dumb but Im about to buy andy's Nur spec R exhaust but hes not online to ask at the moment so I was wondering if any kind soul on here could tell me if his exhaust will fit my j-spec tt http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=95818 , do blitz only make it for the tt?
  2. its a dry filter and as far as I know it is maintenance free
  3. hi guys, Im posting these up again to see if there is any interest after christmas. they are in good condition (face of alloy is unmarked but the very edge rims have kurb marks) they have toyo proxes T1-R's on the front with about 6-7mm tread and bridgestone G3's on the rear one with about 5-6mm and the other about 4mm. heres some pics. Im after £100 + delivery (£35)
  4. hi guys, I bought an apexi power intake to replace this and have decided I no longer need this air box so its up for sale. Its in very good condition, all clips are perfect (not broke) and it comes with an apexi panel filter which has done about 5000miles. It doesnt come with the top plastic cold air feed as I want to keep this. heres some pics anyway. I'm after £50 + delivery (I think £10 would cover that)
  5. I agree, also ordered decats, only spoke to Paul on the phone but seems like a great guy and very helpfull, great products to and at a good price Thanks Paul, just cant wait to get them fitted
  6. Does anyone else have anything? Please dont make we wait until I can afford a new one may be tempted with a Miami GT or an XS-Power one but iv searched for comments and some people say the XS-Power one sounds bad (Dont want it if thats true but would love to be corrected). So ideally I would love to get a second hand Blitz, Apexi, HKS etc. I cant wait for that lovely supra noise
  7. how much are you wanting for it? Do you have any pics?
  8. hi guys, Do any of you have a performance exhaust for sale? Not too fussed what it is, although full stainless steel would be nice. Iv got all the other bits I need to go BPU but I just need an exhaust before I fit everything
  9. Im coming but could someone be a gent and post the post code for the sdadium of light up for me (the pic doesnt work and I really wanna come) I wont be there till about 6ish, is that normally to late?
  10. I agree that the eagle F1's (GS-D3) are a really good tyre, I had Bridgestone's before them and the difference is unreal, especially in the wet. I wouldnt change from them now
  11. Iv also had a bad experience when no2 came online on wet roads, was coming of a roudabout and tight left turn, on pops no2and I span 180 ended up facing a bin lorry and went sideways up a kurb (smashed my front bumper ) and that was only 1week after I bought the car, had it since july and never had any other accedents:) but I must agree it would be sensible to do some sort of advanced driving lessons to bring my driving capabilities up to standard (well more adavanced to be able to fully control the soop)
  12. I hate those PT Cruiser things, there well ugly and there not what you would call fast either, infact whats is good about them?
  13. thanks. thought id ask as people have commented on how loud the Nur Spec can be. Im sure it will be a pleasure to listen to anyway. Does the baffle make alot of difference? I did have a 1.25 fiesta with a twin exit powerflow exhaust and that was stupidly loud and on motoways it could make your ears bleed, it used to take me a good half hour before I could hear properly again (usual drony powerflow) I used to hate it. Im sure the soop wont be that bad
  14. hi guys, does anyone know which of these gaskets I need for the Blitz Nur Spec R? I dont have the exhaust yet and Im buying second hand and will probably need new ones. Heres the link http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/Product-14.aspx One other thing. When you use a restrictor ring do use it as a gasket or do you use it with a gasket?
  15. Strange, I noticed mine started to idle really slow too except mine's is a twin turbo. I too still get the slight vibration and I can hear that the engine doesnt sound chuffed at idle, it sounds a little rough, its not missfiring as it drives perfect. Could this be the same problem? If it is like MSEARLE said could you please expand on the air leak comment........ please.
  16. Im no expert on cars values but I would say 8-8.5k is maybe what its worth
  17. Loch Lomand is nice, I lived in a village about 3miles from there for 2 years called Balfron (while living with my fiance, Im back in Newcastle now) but it is worth a visit if you like walkes (I guess its more for the dogs) but they will like it too, plenty of ducks and swans to chase. Stirling isnt Far from there either. It isnt as big or Scary as Glasgow (I dont recomend that place) but Stirling Castle is a nice place to visit. We went there for something to do and I quite enjoyed it.
  18. My Girlfriend well fiance drives the soop as much as I do, she loves it even though its my car shes the main driver on the policy because it works out £400 cheaper (even though we are the same age and iv been driving twice as long with the same no claims ) but she loves it that much she wants one of her own
  19. The guy that ownes the business called Paul is a really decent guy and his cars are spot on, I havnt got one complaint about the car and they undersealed it when I bought it in july. I have had a look under the car and I must admit they did do a good job of undersealing but given the situation im in I dont know if I could recommend them. I would definatly buy a car from them again but as for trusting them to do a quality job on bodywork or mechanical work I just dont know. Il see what happens tomorrow when I ring them. You never know it might of been the apprentice that sprayed my bumper and they didnt have time to put it right (but even so they should of told me they fooked up and just redone it) anyway il see what happens and post up to let you know. As for the guy called simon you recommended if this all goes balls up Il give him a call. How much did he charge to do your bumpers?
  20. Buy one of these quality british cars:innocent: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=92010
  21. its easy, well mine was. You have 5 plastic screws on the top of the bumper under the bonnet. then 1 or 2 screws at each side of the bumper (you can get to them by unscrewing the plastic wheel arch covers infront of the wheels. then there may be sume plastic clips underneath on the bottom of the bumper holding plastic trim on. Iv had mine off about 3-4 times. it takes about 10-15mins
  22. yeah it sucks because parts are dead easy to find and get.
  23. Is anyone interested in my car , I need to get rid of it, If theres any dealers on here feel free to offer me something. I want to sell it and drive my soop again.
