  1. My dad has worked for Somerfield for over 40 years lol. started as a saturday boy, stacking shelves when he was 13 and has been a project manager for as long as i can remember. You could probably count the sick days on one hand too. I hate starting new jobs, but also can't wait to get out of this shower I work at now.... Roll on graduation in the new year.... :-D
  2. I was disappointed that Katie chucked it in. It would have been a great final with her and Kristina.
  3. Its a riced up "Toyota" Cavalier, made in the states by GM, sold under license in Japan by Toyota. The dealer probably just called it a supra to get more views. It says at the end of the ad, that it is a toyota cavalier.
  4. Not a real Toyota apparently... The third generation model was briefly sold in Japan by Toyota, under a company agreement with GM, badged as the Toyota Cavalier, with some notable differences. Besides the fact that it was right hand drive, the Toyota Cavalier also featured a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, wider front fenders, Japanese legal taillights (with amber turn signals, per Japanese regulations), power folding rear mirrors, side turn signal repeater lights on the front fenders, and carpeting on the inside of the trunk lid. Interior seats were often flecked with color. Rear seat was folding. The Toyota Cavalier was entirely produced by GM in the USA and delivered fair sales from 1995 to 2000. http://www.answers.com/topic/chevrolet-cavalier
  5. Yeah, very pleased I owned one for a while.
  6. I had one for a year. Awesome fun but they do feel cheap and tinny compared to the supra/mr2. Not surprising I know, given their lightness, but I did miss the (relative) luxury. Still, I would definitely recommend one. Such fantastic fun to chuck around. You can take sweeping corners with the wheels sliding and still feel safe that you know where the limit is.
  7. One of the worst looking Supras I have seen for a while.
  8. I don't think a Supra is any heavier than a 911.
  9. Have you seen this one... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=54150 I quite like it, but I think I would stick with wingless.
  10. I loved LCD type games and am still fascinated by them, its great because you can get them all on ebay :-) I would love to buy all the old ones I had but I know Id play them for an hour and then er.... sell em on ebay probably..... My nextdoor neighboor had one of these, and I was well jealous lol. Someone brought one into work recently, was great to see :-D
  11. Yeah, I like it. Looks very tough, like an old american muscle car.
  12. I would have thought you could see the SMIC without taking the bumper off. I guess it's a bit further in than with a stock bumper. Tried using a torch?
  13. That Toyota letter is shocking. What a crock of shit. "Your supra is not a UK model so F off".
  14. I have just found this one. Seems very good so far, lets you choose what channels want like radiotimes and its free http://www.tvguide.co.uk/
  15. I too have been using AVG for years. I tried the above and it didn't react, but when I renamed it to .exe, it picked it up straight away.
  16. I dont think I am gonna get a chance to try it. I believe he has a professional on the case now. Thanks for the info though, at least I learnt something
  17. I tried and failed miserably to fix a friends pc today. It wouldnt boot from the windows cd, so I attempted to go into the bios settings to change the boot order. However when I pressed DEL, although the memory check stopped and it looked like it was going to work, it never actually made it to the bios, it just sat there with a blank screen. Any ideas how to sort this out or get round it ? TIA
  18. Amazing how they closed all the gaps up like that
  19. Cheers, I did actually read that before I posted but I thought that it was probably different to TWO solid white lines. Reading it now though, I guess the only line we are interested in, is the one on 'our' side of the road.
  20. Yeah push bike. I overtook one going up a hill yesterday. Unsurprisingly it was going very slowly. Was I really meant to do 5 mph for a mile or so ? It was perfectly safe to overtake in my opinion, the road was completely quiet.
  21. Are you allowed to overtake a bike if you would need to cross double white lines? I'm thinking not, but it seems rediculous.
  22. Lol did you hear him going on about how that Merc had too many "torques" last week? Is this an actual unit of torque or just something he made up I remember when he was talking about the Elise going to America and how boring it was to put a Toyota engine in it. The crowd had a good laugh at that. He is a tit. Very funny tho
  23. Yeah, probably just some 'tard that that liked your car, wanted to take a pic, and thought you would be impressed if he said he worked at Max Power.
