  2. Cool, thanks very much chaps
  3. Apologies for the waaaay off topic thread... I recently cut some 14' leylandii trees down from the bottom of the garden and the two fence panels that are now exposed are falling apart. The posts seem quite good so I would like to just replace the panels. The rest of the fence is a dark brown color and I have the wood stain that was used. But when I look for fence panels online, they all seem to be more "orangey". Can I stain panels such as the one below to a dark brown, or do I need a different type of wood? TIA

    hybrids?

Not too bad, that would be my choice.

    hybrids?

How much are new OEM jap turbos?
  6. Theres plenty of cases of people being fleeced by the companies. Cardata is the famous one I believe. They are bloody annoying. one of the worst things about selling a car. http://blogs.mirror.co.uk/investigations/2006/08/we-expose-cardatas-claims-to-h.html
  7. No Adblock Plus or other extensions, from what I read. Thats quite a big negative in my opinion.
  8. I connected a bulb and 2 wires across the power to the horn and the chassis. I got the missus to verify that the bulb lit when i pressed the horn. It did, so I knew it was the horn. Only cost a few quid, 5 -10 from an autofactors. Halfords sell them, but probably for a little bit more. Just to add, this was on a 2002 yaris, and the horn was corroded as said, but I assume it would be a similar case for the supe.
  9. Yeah that did it for me. I took me a while to find the page though! They are obviously banking on some people upgrading to the not-so-free "suite".

  12. Oops, I never even checked. Thats obviously quite out of date info on the T04R page.

  15. Yeah, its still SD though.
  16. Okay sweet, Ill give it a try tomorrow, cheers
  17. If I did go that route, how would I select the boot partition? Is it the same as above or do I have to set it somewhere?
  18. You are right about getting import models without the DVB tuner. I couldnt be bothered with the risk of what I might be getting from some unknown internet box shifter so I bought from a Panasonic shop. I looked at the AV receiver thing but lost interest when I found out they dont normally have the ability to switch formats between input and output. IE you cant have a component input, output to the tv as HDMI. Possibly on the more expensive ones, but not on the ONKYO 505 (thats my understanding anyway).
  19. Yeah, thats the wrong picture. Probably the PX70 or PZ700.
  20. The 700 is a fair bit more expensive (its still the flagship) and it also doesnt look as nice (imo) Can you get to a big comet? We have a great one near us (by the Madjeski stadium) with them all on display.
  21. Brian, the main reason we went for the 1080 (pZ70) set, was that the frame and stand look much nicer in my/our opinion. The pX70 frame looks a bit cheap and old fashioned by comparison. 1080 IS a bit of a gimmick, but it doesnt hurt to have I had a quick look on pricerunner and there looks to be about 200 quid difference between the two. A 50" tv is going to take up quite a bit of visual space so we thought it worth paying the extra for the more atractive looking set.
  22. Hello IT chaps I want to put xp media center edition on a pc. But I dont want to overwrite the exiting data incase I cant get all the drivers working and I will also need access to all the documents. I would also prefer to avoid buying another harddisk if I can. Can I just install a second copy of windows onto the same partition? Or should I create another partition and install it on that? In either case, how do I tell the pc which version of windows I want it to use? TIA edit - sorry wrong forum, amateur! (mods please move)
  23. Just realised I have said almost exactly the same as Alex. He's right though lol Everything you want to know... http://www.avforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=82
