  1. Have a try on this page, it shows the SD to HD difference. Just move the line from left to right http://www.freesat.co.uk/what-you-get/hd-tv/
  2. I chopped in my 10yr old rear projection Sony TV last year for an LED Samsung D8000. You do really see the difference in quality from SD to HD and typically I only watch HD channels now. SD is fine, even on my new unit but, the HD is so much better IMO. Is it worth it, Oh Yeah! Can't wait for SKY F1 HD to start on 9th March
  3. Well I bought my HCB005 in 2004, had it replaced in 2006 FOC and now it's on it's last leggs really (not bad 7yrs for the price of £55)so, going back to a Toyota one which, is a £24 saving over the price of the Halfords one these days and does come with a 3yr G-tee. I used the original part number of: T28800-YZZAE on my UK spec, from the one I bought in 2002 and it's still valid. £59 + VAT pickup on Saturday
  4. His aim is to go full BPU, you don't need a fuelling computer to go BPU (Click on the hyperlink BPU)
  5. Apex-i had the SAFC = Super Air Flow Converter and HKS had the S-AFR before the days of the Greddy's E-Manage/EMU or the MAP ECU etc....which, are all fuel computers that "piggyback" onto the Toyota ECU, as Homer states above. The stock ECU can not be re-mapped, you normally buy a piggyback ECU or remove the Toyota ECU and go for a fully standalone ECU (HKS F-con, MoTec and the like).
  6. I asked for a Chopper and got a Grifter
  7. It says in the details that it's used. I might have to put mine up for Sale if it goes for a good price
  8. I have had the CW suspension for the last 8yrs, one of the best things I have done to my car!

  10. You build it up on each policy. I have 19yrs no claims on my Supra policy but, only 6yrs on my family hatch who, is with another insurance company. (Once you get over 5yrs NCB it does not matter how many more years you add to it, or so I was told by one insurance co.)
  11. I have seen the car a couple of times over the years so, I’m well aware it’s a UK spec I’m sorry but, I still disagree with the advice being given to N-Mir, who is new to Supra’s and is asking for basic upgrades. I think using 1.4bar of boost and Safe in the same sentence is the wrong advice to a noobie! You don’t talk about if the UK spec turbo’s are still in their efficiency range or not, what the level of reliability he should expect with running at this level of boost, EGT’s levels, AFR’s & Fuelling etc… Supranature did cover things very well in post #2, it’s the 1.4bar of boost mentioned lower in the thread that I think is crazy talk! If a noobie reads post#18 and #32 I think they could get the wrong idea and……..hence the Homer gave some sound advice, as usual
  12. That is a very nice colour, I as at POD the day that photo was taken and parked up next to him. BUT, I like my 202
  13. Hi AJI, Are you still using the Power Enterprise Induction filter ? Also, was the stock paper filter NEW or used ? (This will make a difference in my book) I normally replace my stock filter once if not twice a year to keep it free flowing as they do turn black quickly and can become restrictive.
  14. With respect, and as we are in the Tech section - I don't think we want to be advising N-Mir that he should be running at 1.4bar of boost, it will end in tears! I only point this out as you have mentioned it twice in the same thread so, N-Mir (or any other noobie) might think that it's OK to up his boost on the AVCR without fully understanding the implications/risks with such a move....I didn't see him list the Apexi SAFC or the like....
  15. The official countdown has set periods during the countdown where it is paused or "Holding" for a 10min duration. The next hold is at the T-9 for 41mins.
  16. No, still on plan for 16:26 UK time.
  17. Well, a 30% chance now due to the weather.... 16:26 UK time http://www.nasa.gov/externalflash/135_splash/index.html
