  1. Standard profile/size OR the winter tyre recommendations from Toyota 235/45 all round ? Which tyre did you go for ?
  2. I was very lucky to get out of Germany on Firday, the snow was 6" deep and the plane had to be de-iced along with a 4hr delay but, got home before the snow hit here! Best of luck!
  3. Yes they are! I can't go back now, snow is 6-10" to get to my house and they work a treat. Even on the main roads where folks are driving like they have trays of eggs in the boot, I'm able to drive normally. I did some test driving/emergency stops to find the limits of the tyres in different conditions so, I have a better understanding of them (while I was on my own and no other cars around) still, it’s not a license to go mad or drive fast, remember a lot of folks can’t stop that quick and you will be caught out yourself! as they do have their limits but, I feel much safer driving with them on. If winters continue like this, it should be law that you have to fit them…..the number of people who you can see are in trouble with traction, it’s just dangerous! for them an others. NOTE: This is in a family car, not the supra.
  4. Sorry but, it's not Conti's fault.
  5. I just put some Continental WinterContact TS830's all round on my FWD family car and what a difference!!! The Pilot Alpin PA3's are £204:80 e.a. at mytyres.....maybe I'll just leave the Supra in the garage till spring as normal
  6. I see it will be the 5th anniversary for this thread in a couple of months! Do you have any events planned to celebrate Ed ?

  11. Hi Kev, yeah, Boarders closed in the UK earlier this year, I'm in the US at the moment. Do you want me to pick you a copy up and I can post it to you when I get home in a couple of weeks time ?
  12. Yep, just noticed it in Super Street Dec 2010 in Borders tonight I see Peter P beat me too it Still a great looking car!
  13. My local Vision Express do them, not sure on the price though. I assume they all do nationwide ??
  14. great film, I love his car and the DRE track.
  15. Yep, 90467-09093 Qty 5 that hold the rubber strip 53395E into the ali strip 52521. Mine were replaced in 2003/4 by Toyota and I did not see the originals come off the car so, maybe the design of the clips have changed over the years....different suppliers these days ??
  16. Really, I bought a new ali strip and rubber and clips to re-fresh mine and worked from EPC for my UK spec. They all fitted as planned. I have been trying to re-load EPC for two nights now, just to double check that those clips were for the rubbet strip.....I'm sure of it.
  17. I didn't really need to go out to the garage to check that part code after all....should of looked on my PC. Only 5 needed to attached the rubber strip
