For the most part I agree with the above. When I got my NA I couldn't probably afford a TT and run it, plus I didn't really know how long I would want to part of the club. I have had the Supra ownership experience at very little cost in reality and most people I speak to don't really give a monkeys what engine is in it, they just think it looks cool.
I must say I have never really felt belittled by any other member for having an NA and always took it as banter as opposed to a serious opinion. If it was serious, they would have been quickly told to fook off.
I have now gone TT and an auto at that particularly after driving Mrs H's Audi tiptronic and what fun that has been with 220 Hp.
We looked at a few cars as an NA replacement and very few came up to our expectations for the money.
At the end of the day, the club was a massive reason to stay whether you have an NA, TT or single, who really gives a shit.
