  1. Once you feel the kickdown in a bpu auto supra your worries will be gone
  2. My dash is still going strong from when I did them back in that post. No damage at all or wear marks.
  3. New year update! Fitted a different tps, possibly managed to set it using a multimeter athough as before not 100% sure its correct. Can ran fine for a few months then was parked up. 4 months later its back on the road and doing the exact same thing again. Tested in TTC works fine. In sequential mode hangs at 3k rpm again although this time gear changes are very smooth. Time to look at the tps wires again. Tempted just to book the damm thing in to Lee and get it sorted.
  4. I go from one extreme to another. Supra used to be immaculate. Machine polished clayed and nano sealed bodywork and glass. Kept it immaculate. Any dust or dirt I would have to wash it. Now its been parked up for 4 months the paint has faded and there is moss growing on the windows..... might clean it tomorrow.... if my balls dont need scratching.
  5. I ripped mine out as well. Juat drive the last mile or so home gently off boost. Job done.
  6. I have plumbed back to seq mode. Sadly car isnt taxed so cant test. Although cant replicate the noise on the Driveway when revving engine to 2k rpm. This was when I noticed the noise initially in ttc.
  7. I stopped reading after Lee's advice
  8. I heard if you fit them your turbos spin backwards!!! I know about engines I have built one of these!!
  9. If you look online you can find the manual for the evc as well. I have the evc 6 and its time consuming to set up but with 4 or 5 test runs I have it sorted. And havent needed to touch it again since. Great bit of kit.
  10. Get a decent electronic boost controller. Only real way to ensure accurate consistant boost control.
  11. Christ. Didnt realise it was that bad. I was beating myself up for days for taking a month to post some bits to wewsupra. Seems pretty insignificant compared to this. Stick up a list of what you need mate happy to help if I can.
  12. Mines over a year old as well and fine. I did pressure wash and thoroughly clean the carpet first.
  13. Did you ever solve this? Mine is now rattling that side when reved at idle after being parked up for 4 months.
  14. what boost controller are you running then? You need something to ensure you have stable accurate boost control. What happens when the air gets colder or hotter??? Its going to be all over the place.
  15. Any good links online for an oem rad cap?
  16. Six speed conversion is around the £3k mark for parts then fitting on top. 5speed much cheaper but a weaker box.
  17. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=251453054876
  18. Bilt Hamber regular clay. On ebay for £12 for a massive block. Only need to use water with it. Huge bar much better value than meguires. You can get 5 bars from one block mine has lasted ages.
  19. An ssqv also wont (or shouldnt) leak under boost either unlike some other bov's. Due to the piston being designed to be pushed closed when on boost. Who is this person who is saying this stuff???? Get him on here for some re-education. ...
  20. Using any boost control? As others have said you now have a greater volume to fill before the boost reaches the same level. Were you ruw the stock ic before?
  21. I would be getting that car to a supra specific garage for a serious checkup to see whay else may be damaged. Single conversion SRD or Whifbitz.
  22. I need to get mine booked in. Still got a tps fault.
