    Website updates

tell us what you've changed, and we can take a look at your site from our machines and confirm if the changes have happened or not.. Might be your computer loading a cached version of your site, rather than downloading the pages again? I had this before, and i can't remember what i did... lol
  2. thanks for the tips I'll let them know.
  3. well the brand new one was about £500+ if i remember rightly??? They went for a refurbed one - we've tested it and it does its job fine - i think the battery has probably seen better days now Anyway, i don't worry too much - i'm gonna convert them to a supra anyway
  4. looks like a nice car there! My mum and dad still have an FTO - central locking is f00ked and we've tried repairing it SOOO many times now, alternator went and that was a bit of a pig to replace.. battery keeps going flat because they don't drive it enough (i think).... Good move getting a Supra - I intend to do the same to prove to mum and dad that japanese cars can be reliable!
  5. welcome I live in southampton and regularly go to Portsmouth area, and have a mate in Titchfield Nice area... I don't have a supe yet though
  6. well spotted - but i'd assume one photo is older than the other one...? Looks lovely.
  7. that wasn't the impression i got from Scott Mills... he said that it had either a) been the original, and then it had been retuned to sound good.... or b) it was good originally, but was then detuned to make them sound bad. He said he thought he knew which it was.. (wink wink) but didnt say more than that.... anyway, i don't care - she's still useless.
  8. i must say i thought the supra would have been further up front for the majority of the race, was only due to the accident that it crossed the line first. Looked lovely though
  9. Rep..... O..... S........ T...........
  10. i have seen auctions removed from ebay with less than 12hrs remaining - stating it had been "sold elsewhere". PITA, but i don't think its wrong unless the seller repeatedly does it.
  11. "a whole new world?" Yes please - one without either of you two talentless plonkers
  12. i installed a replacement electric shower this weekend... 9.5kw needs a 45amp fuse, 8.5kw can get away with a 40amp. (according to the paperwork we got with the shower) I've say that you need it sorted pronto - the only thing that should smell is YOU (at least before you get in the shower) Oh, and the cabling might not be in fantastic shape - if this is a new shower, chances are the power of the replacement shower are too high for the size of cabling used.
  13. where were you lot when i asked this question a month ago??? lol Certainly makes buying a decent auto a possibility.. rather than the extra outlay for a manual to start with....
  14. don't go by what i said though - do a search on here and find my thread.
  15. lol - i saw one at 5k and another at 5k, and looking at some manual TT's on here for 10k+ my maths isn't far wrong - but as said, the two TT's would be med/low-end condition, but u could probably break it and make money..
  16. i believe i asked this same question not so long ago - you could almost pick up 2 auto supra's for the price of a manual (ok not fantastic, but u get the idea) - so i was thinking of doing the conversion. It appears it could cost around 5k+ to do it, although some have suggested 2k and others 6k.
  17. i must say i love the big spoiler - stock one is a bit boring IMO.
  18. Oh glad it's being sorted - no rush for mine, so long as i get it eventually
  19. I had a similar problem on my old vauxhall - the problem only appeared when i changed my pads as they were obvoiusly much thicker than my old, worn-out ones - and this problem reared (sp?) its head. Wasn't by much, but was enough to annoy me. Also, I've had a mis-shaped tyre before. I swapped left for right wheel (non-directional tyres) and car immediately started pulling the other way. I went straight back to the garage - tyre changed - and all was well again.
  20. I'd speak to myspace peeps - perhaps send the tech.dept an email? Sure there must be a contact us page somewhere.
  21. Could it be a myspace problem? It doesn't really sound like its a problem with your end, especially if you can do anything else BAR looking at myspace profiles... I'm just totally guessing now, but i'd do a quick scan for spyware and viruses just in case, but i seriously doubt thats the problem at all.
  22. can you look for a RANDOM profile on myspace? Chances are you're viewing the pages that you've seen before, and have cached them in memory anyway. You're probably not on the internet at all.... maybe a dodgy broadband line.. Do you have the ability to check something else? Perhaps outlook email or something, see if that works?
  23. oops - yeah - totally forgot that the rest of the thread mentioned US - d'oh! Sorry! $75 a month - thats very cheap! Extremely cheap even! It cost me £80 a month (nearly double ur quote) to run a 1.4 vauxhall at 22yr old!
