fair enough. Us techies here have no problems with it at all. I personally don't use it - i do everything manually rather than use an application such as this to do it for me, but for those with little knowledge thought it might be of some use.

i think it must be possible to get used to the power - but is there EVER an upper limit? I mean, can you ever get used to 600bhp/1000bhp? I suppose that the limit would be the limit you can use on the road, as thats what you get to do on a daily basis. I know that I'm VERY used to the 220bhp i have in my current car, but i can't do anything about it until i get my supra now

well more thinking has been done, and I'm still a little clueless One one side - we've decided we'd rather move this spring, and just take things as they come. Getting a bigger/better property is never (well, not likely) going to lose us money, so it seems sensible. However, I'm not sure about the relationship now. I need to do something about it - and i don't think the missus "can be bothered" - all we seem to be doing now is arguing and b*tching. So thats making me doubt any future commitments. Anyway - has anyone on here purchased a place on their own, and then got a mate to move in and pay rent? Hows it working out?

i spent so much time on my SEAT forum that i ended up writing my own website with all the how-to guides, costs etc on! Original car cost - £11800. Modifications cost approximation - £5500+. All modification ideas spurred from the forums. If i had never found the forums, i'd never have known about 90% of the mods! Now had enough, so slowly getting rid of bits and pieces. never make my money back, but nevermind! Its all good fun, and i learn lots too!

yep - i carry one in my car too. Only a small extinguisher, but anything big to tackle and i'll already have run a mile away...

yes mate. 1.8 20VT with a k03s turbo. I'm roughly running 218bhp/240lbft, with a boost pressure of about 20psi peak. Standard boost level is about 9psi.

interesting to see a thread like this on here.... I have a thread going on the SEAT cupra forums at the moment along similar lines... I've got a CAI, with the filter in the passenger side wheel area, right down in the bottom of the bumper. Results are quite good. Standard airbox/feed gets around 170g/s air flow, with this i see 185g/s, and obviously more air is good. Intake temps are also slightly lower, although not hugely different. However, I'm going back to a standard airbox, just like most supra owners recommend. I'm doing this because the results are on par, if not better, when used with an uprated filter element (green filters, for example) and a larger air intake ducting/hosing. So long as the hose entry point is towards the front of the car, ie in the grille or down near a foglight, the results are as good, if not better. Also allow far easier access to clean/replace the filter. Doesn't LOOK as nice, but my car is not really a show car now as it's getting so worn, dented, and abused, with the 25k miles a year i do to work and back

good luck mate, but IMO far too many of these forums/clubs appearing here there and everywhere now. So many means that a lot of the clubs have 0-100 members, and i prefer to be a member of a big club, as there is more going on, better deals etc. No offence intended of course - and well done for helping promote it!

i should know the answer to this. grrrr. mind has gone blank. I know that when you originally install them you usually get an option to install for ALL users or just current one.. I'm assuming you selected the "all users" option originally.

so far i've got: Some guy names PaulFwx (or mr pink ???) drove a nice car at silly speeds on an icy, straight road, and crashed, quite badly. He has little to 0 driving experience (at least of cars with r32 power) he drove like a c*ck. He also didnt wear a seatbelt. He blabs about his crash, even posing for some photos of himself "crying" by the accident. From reading, it seems like he only just got the car, or at least only just finished paying for it. He then abused most of the forums. The forums then abused him. Many times. Many funny jokes, rhymes etc created. If anyone can add to that, please do.... i can't be bothered to read the rest either, although some is quite funny!

i have non-lighting-up jobbies on my SEAT - loads of people comment on how good they look. Not chav if the lighting is subtle IMO.. and not a gay colour either.

what would that be then???? lol....
