  1. That's pretty bad. But I can do worse. What do you call a French man in sandals? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Wait for it......... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Phillippe Philloppe.
  2. The charge from DVLA is £105 when you actually take the car from the car and put it on retention. That's £80 to transfer it OFF the car and £25 for the retention certificate. The renewal of the certificate is £25 per year thereafter. Just to clarify.
  3. I bought Brian a JVC digital video camera on ebay last year for £86!! OK, it was used, but it was a right bargain!

    Pet's

Our Neighbours Cat/Kitten who was owned by their disabled boy, got run over by the minibus that picks him up! The driver must of felt something! luckily the boy didn't know. It was Brian (Soop Dogg) who found him. He had to go round to his mum to tell her the sad news. We were very fond of this little cat, although very timid he would come round and be company for us when working on the cars. He would sit just out of reach and just watch. Brian would never try to pet him, but let him sit there. It was like an unspoken thing that he would watch when we were working at the car. That's why we keep our cats indoors.

This is our older cat - Floyd. ('cos he's kind of pink) Sleeping on my BLACK coat - you can imagine the mess he makes, but he's worth it! And awake:

This is our youngest cat, Shelby. Firstly, asleep in her bed after wearing herself out with her little toys. Then playing - in the washing!!
  9. I just love black supes!
  10. The Racelogic unit is fantastic, you have no worries in the wet and you can get excellent 1/4 mile times! Me and Soop Dogg have it on both our cars.
  11. In that case can I refer you to the Carrera GT: http://www.mulsannescorner.com/aerodatabaseporschecarreragt04.html and the 360 Modena: http://www.mulsannescorner.com/aerodatabaseferrari360modena99.html Nobody is saying anything about LARGE amounts of downforce in road cars. But as you can see, they don't ALL generate lift!
  12. I've been looking at this sight for a couple of years now. When anyone tells you how fantastic their Audi TT is, just point them at this and see how much LIFT it generates!! http://www.mulsannescorner.com/aerodatabaseauditt00.html Lol!!!
  13. Could be a girl that works for the train station. She has a N/A one, that has Split rim wheels, skirts and spats on it. She parks it at Riverside.
  14. J-spec passed me near the Railway Tavern Pub yesterday 2pm ish. He was going towards Norwich. I was in my Audi, not my Supe.
  15. I was sitting in a layby between Scottow and Coltishall, when a very clean White Supra drove past. The only thing I noticed was it had side skirts. I was in a blue Audi not in my Supe
  16. Well said. We can all get a little over confident at times and take a few liberties, but with these cars that can be dangerous. Not until you've found the car is out of control, will you really find out how far your 'talent' stretches. For many of us, that means we end up thanking our lucky stars that we just got away with it again or wishing we could turn the clock back 10 secs and then filling out insurance forms.

    End Of a Dream

Sorry to hear about this mate. My other half (Soop Dogg) did the same thing two years ago, but it was in the dry! Once the temps start to go down and if the tyres are cold, we all need to take extra care - even in the dry. He had RLTC in the car at the time, but had just been demonstrating it to someone and left it on 20%. Not helpful when you then hit a streak of diesel on the exit of a roundabout. Speed was within 40mph, but the car spun, went across a footpath and then into mid-air as there was a 10ft drop down a bank. It didn't put us off though. We both have Supras now, from the salvage money, Brian managed to pick himself up an Aerotop TT so he's pretty happy now. We also both have RLTC in our cars too - the highest it ever goes to is the 'Dry' setting these days though! See if you can get the salvage back. We did and it worked out well for us. We sold loads of parts and still have alot of spares. Let us know how you get on. Keep your chin up.
  18. Glad you got home ok. Was it long after we left that the recovery truck got there?
  19. what about a Z3 BMW, he can pick one of them up for £12,000. Although not a Supra, the higher engine models can be nippy. They are not too girlie Or more Girlie options; MX5, or MG,
