  1. Hopefully pics will come soon!
  2. Thanks to McGoo for posting the invite to the Marham track day this weekend. What a fantastic day out! We had 4 Supras turn up, myself, Soop Dogg, Robbie and of course McGoo. (Sorry you couldn't run your Supra, McGoo) Cars ran really well, apart from when Brian's plugs started breaking down under pressure - thanks to Robbie for sorting him out with another set! I had great fun dicing with an Ultima - passed him before the end of the straight and then nearly lost it 2 bends further on. Bit of red mist perhaps! Strange when you see an ultima through the passenger door window, then the drivers door window, then back to the passenger side again! Luckily I caught it in the end. Ultima man got past and then lost it himself on the next bend! Great day, met such nice people, cooked another set of brakes, but I'm sure we'll be back for more! (Robbie - your car is awesome on the runway - 186mph! ) Looking forward to Bruntingthorpe next week. (Last week was Sculthorpe, so next week will be the 3rd week in a row on track.)
  3. Good luck tomorrow. Look at it this way: Not all is lost - at least you can type!
  4. Sorry, but that bus-shelter in the background of the pic is RED. The car in the foreground is pink(ish)!! (Seriously....good effort mate! )
  5. Party time then Alex!
  6. And you thought nobody would know!! Have a good one mate!
  7. They aren't off to Mick Gardner racing in Barnesley are they? We stopped in there a week or so ago. He's now an Eibach authorised dealer and he had some beautiful stuff there in nice spangly glass cases. Russ is a very helpful bloke too. (We're having a little bit of work done to the Ohlins bits at the mo.) If anyone is interested, they do all the remote reservoir/pro/racing type suspension there now, you'll find him via google. Like I say, good bloke, knows his stuff. (works with the Panoz & TVR racing teams)
  8. Yep...me too! This is very close to my heart and I give to Cancer Research by direct debit. I've had a couple of friends die from cancer and one in hospital at the moment - not to mention IanC being one of our closest friends also. As far as I'm concerned, if my donation helps in any small way to find a cure, it's worth every penny to keep our friends around us. Best of luck, Ange! Angie.
  9. I loved it so much I bought my own! Had an N/A first, but in the end, just couldn't stand it as the other half had a TT. So we both have TTs now. Job done. All happy here! (In the summer we can both be seen on the twisties around Norfolk travelling at speed, line astern. People say we're mad, but if we had motorbikes, no-one would think twice about it. (would they?) My audi (work car) is the last car to be taken off the driveway on the weekends - too boring!
  10. I like the look of them! I thought about buying a Evo 8, but I really love rwd and They have a 6000 mile service interval!
  11. I have noticed this also, but if you try and take them on in a Supe (Me being another female driver)they don't want to know! I think they have the basic model, but kit it up to look like a wrx or Sti.

    New Girl

I'm Glad you are coming to the Anglian meet! Looking forward to seeing you and your Supe.
  13. Not for Supra Girls obviously as we know better. This will be for normal ladies who are more interested in embroidery and kittens!
  14. I thought they tasted liked burnt roasted cardboard. Having said that, I have never tasted sliced roasted dog eggs!

    Film Quotes

7 Sunset Blvd. 13 Love Story. 24 Sunset Blvd. (again) 27 Midnight Cowboy. 33 When Harry met Sally. 39 Field of Dreams. (Waynes World 2 was a quote of this film) 79 Airplane! I'll come back later and do some more....
  18. The Sweet - 'Blockbuster'. Good ol' glam rock!
  19. With the Cokin filters you can put a number of filters on the camera at once to combine effects. Graduated grey would give you that effect on the sky. And you can alter the amount of grey on the top of the pic by altering the position of the filter in the holder. Apart from what you can achieve with the filters, you can also photoshop stuff - just like the Top Gear Magazine pictures!!
  20. My work car, an Audi A6 has cr@p headlights. (Something that owners complain about alot on the Audis before they went to the HID-type lights) I'd like to improve the lights without the outlay of going HID and was looking at the xenon bulbs in Halfrauds today. Has anyone tried these? Are they worth the almost £30 a pair? If not, can anyone else suggest another make of bulb that is brighter than your average OEM bulb for not a huge amount of money? (The £30 is a good enough price, but I want to make sure it's worth it. Besides, spare money would rather be spent on the Supe!)
  21. Try the Cokin website. They are the company who make the 'square' filters that we used for these shots on Holiday in over New Year. http://www.cokin.com/ Download the 100 page brochure. It has lots of examples I believe.
  22. This is using a graduated blue filter. The B&W one shows the effect pretty well on the contrast.
