  1. They're so cute!! Talking of cute kittens, have you seen this? You have to watch it to the end - to see when it's asleep! Cuter than cute.
  2. Mixed driving (some city/some main roads/dual carriageways) 20ish. Mainly short trips - in and out of town with just the odd bit of main roads - 18ish. Motorway trip - cruise set to 75ish - 25 to 26mpg You'll actually find that if you decat it, the mpg will be better on a trip - however, with the extra grunt, you'll be tempted to boot it more and hence find you get less MPG.
  3. Bleed nipple goes to the top as that's where air bubbles rise to.
  4. That spring clip doesn't go on the back of the pad - when the pads are in the caliper with the retaining pins in place, that clip goes on the top of the caliper, one end going over one of the pins and the other going under the remaining pin. Unfortunately I'm not at home at the moment - otherwise I'd send you a pic. I'm sure someone else will oblige shortly....
  5. All done now! Thanks everyone for being patient with your local blonde.
  6. Don't know what happened with the sig, Doug. It works now - Brian (Soop Dogg) had a look at my profile for me and all seemed ok - but he coudn't see my sig either, even when using his computer. Works now though! (We knew about the dots thing to 'hide sigs' - it wasn't that) I'll change the comment under my name myself now too. I just can't remember what was on there before! (But it certainly wasn't "Expert" etc!!)
  7. I did!! (Sorry Mawbs!) I'm sure he'll be most helpful - he has been in the past.
  8. Maybe there's a poltergeist on here....
  9. I've noticed a couple of things today that are strange. Firstly, someone seems to have changed the comment under my username to read 'Work.....what work'. I don't know who has done this, but I'm not sure I like someone changing my profile in this way so I'm changing it back to something more suitable. Also, my signature won't display any more under my posts. This was working up until a day or two ago, but will not now display. I've gone into the user CP and have it set to display signatures, but still nothing. Any ideas? If this has been switched off by a moderator (maybe because I have placed a link to my 'for sale' thread in my sig?) maybe it would have been an idea for someone to pm me with some sort of explanation? (Obviously this might not be the reason, but I can't think of anything else...)[Edit:****mysteriously this bit has suddenly started working! Very strange!***] Anyone else had any such problems? I have informed a moderator, but might have to wait a while for them to come online again, so just thought I'd ask here too.
  10. Sounds like you're looking for my car - it has all of these. Normally you'd have to get a GZ to get the cruise control, but my RZ has it too. Make me a decent offer and I'll think about it!
  11. This is mine. (And you can also find it in the 'For Sale' section at the moment... ) This one was our first ever Supra which we got in 2001. She was a real 'minter', but has now gone to Supra heaven. And here's how our first Supra ended up. Pictured here with NO aftermarket goodies whatsoever!
  12. Merrill Lynch is advising their clients to sell their shares in Countrywide - the largest mortgage broker in the US. That could start a panic if Countrywide go bust....
  13. Heaven forbid that there should be anything at all on the road that means people like this should have to concentrate or pay attention to what they're doing whilst behind the wheel! Idiot!
  14. NOW SOLD Unfortunately I'm putting my black '93 TT auto up for sale. We've had the car for about 3 1/2 years and it hasn't missed a beat. It was MOT'd about 2 weeks ago and sailed through as usual. It's still pretty standard, nothing much has ever been done with this car - it even has both its' cats still in place. It's got the following extras: HKS SSQV blow-off valve. HKS Super-Drager cat-back exhaust. (The pipework for this has been custom made in stainless steel by Power & Performance in Norwich as the mild steel that HKS use is rubbish!) Blitz Boost gauge Alpine CD/Radio. It has the usual RZ equipment plus cruise control. The front tyres are new and were fitted for the MOT last month. (Done less than 100 miles) Brian (my husband) did an oil change about 2000 miles ago - (only ever put Valvoline Synpower in it) and changed the cambelt at the same time. Bodywork is in very good overall condition as you will see below, but there are some small stone chips on the front end. Nothing major though - we had the front end painted by Les Bedford, Norwich when we bought the car in 2004. Mileage is just under 76,500 as of today. The number plate will come with the car if someone offers very close to the asking price. Oh - almost forgot - it has a Thatcham Cat1 alarm/immobiliser fitted too. The car has also been de-restricted. PM me if interested.
  15. Shiny Black supe on Pound lane near Sainsburys, at about 5pm ish today.
  16. Parked up near Petersfield Hotel entrance. Yesterday at about 3 pm ish.
  17. Did anyone see the Indy 500 yesterday? They had the C6 convertible as the pace car this year. Strange colour to choose though - wouldn't be to everyones taste. See HERE
