Yep I agree with that. I went in May last year, it was 30 degrees most of the day, although quite cool at night (still t-shirt weather though). I preferred it much more to when I have been in August/September, when I find it too hot.
We stayed at the Altamar twice, nice clean hotel, with the views you see in the pictures, although the lifts up and down the hill are amusing at first, but tedious after the novelty's worn off. But we returned after the first time so that says it all really. We also stayed in the Puerto Azul the first time we went again nice hotel, awesome view over the Puerto Rico beach/harbour, pretty much like the ones you see in the first set of pics. But a little boy drowned in the pool whilst we were there, so it put Vicky off after that. He dived in apparently, smashed his face on the shallow bottom, and then broke his jaw through his windpipe. He was dead as soon as he did that apparently, the only way he could have been saved if he was in hospital.
Everybody had a big collection for him, and his mother was given about £1500, but obviously that was little consolation when you are flying your Son home in a box.
