  1. I paid a bit less than what you have been quoted to have it done by CW. That included his own modified clutch, new flywheel, some gearbox seals replaced, new release bearing etc. Oh and a first de-cat too.
  2. Ah right, I'll get better prices than they (opie)can give me, Fuchs supply all the coolants for our machines at work. I just got a spanking deal on my Pro S silkolene.
  3. Just wondering what people use for these 2 fluids. I have read the FAQ on the fluid changes, but it only gives what spec to get. I was just wondering what brands have people used for there's. Just looking at topping them up really.
  4. I can't really wire it direct. As the phone line comes in behind the settee, which is at the other side of the room. I did try connecting the modem/router to the extension that's run to the Sky box from the phone line, but I just kept getting an error flashing for the ADSL test bit on my router.
  5. I loved my Coupe Turbo. I keep toying with the idea of another or a 220GTi/GSi turbo and prepping it for the track. I'd played with mine a bit, it was running a GT28R turbo, Modified Sunny GTi-r intercooler front mounted, Apex'i intake in a cold air box, Turbosmart E-boost running 12psi. It was probably pushing 240bhp in a FWD car that weighs about 1150kg's it was a nice car.
  6. Yep cheers. The signal should be fine, the router is just behind the sofa, the Xbox is about 4 metres away from it.
  7. I am on 2MB broadband here, just wondering if this is sufficient to play online with the 360. Also I would be using the wireless adapter that you can buy for the 360. Anybody have a similar setup? Does it run smoothly etc?
  8. Was it just the 220 N/A, yes they are a bit crappy. The turbo's are nice (apart from the head gasket problems). I would rather have had the Honda engined 216 than the Rover engined 220 N/A.
  9. Having owned one of these before, I keep a look on the forums etc. and spotted this. I like it, looks nice with some one off parts too. http://homepage3.nifty.com/rover220/index.html
  10. pimpin' Looks nice. Nice wheels on it.
  11. Just been to the garage in Longridge, Optimax there is 110.9. Thats a whole 10 pence per litre cheaper. Last week the one at Deepdale added 5p per litre. In Longridge they have added only 2p. I can see myself in a TDi of some sort, if it carries on.
  12. I think they are a beautiful looking car, and they have the power too. Awesome motor, should be nice with the Charger on.
  13. They do the big Omnimount ones in Currys etc. I don't have one but I went and hung off one. It's very solid, but it should be for the best part of £300.
  14. I am a big fan of football. I love Liverpool FC. I use most of my holidays booking Sundays off to watch them. But you haven't added a poll to the thread.
  15. I would have imagined so. Isn't a power FC a full on ECU, and not just something that fudges signals. I would have imagined you'd get a much better map with alot more adjusting ability with the Power FC. You can also monitor alsorts of things with them, like oil pressure, temperatures. Alsorts of stuff like that. You might need extra sensors for it though. A mate of mine works for RB motorsport, and he had a power FC in both his RB5 Impreza and his R32 GTR. So they must be pretty good. I am no expert on this but from reading about them that's the impression I get.
  16. It used to be one of the cheaper ones up until 6/8 months ago. Luckily my daughter goes to scholl in Alston, which is 2 minutes from Longridge, so I am going there from now on.
  17. Absolutely Ridiculous this now. It's gone up 5p a litre in the space of 4 days. That's at the Shell near the Deepdale retail park. Before that it was 115.9p, it is actually cheaper in the rural town of Longridge it was 107.9 when I went 2 weeks back.
  18. A friend of mine saw one on Saturday night on Blackpool Road in Preston at about 10:30pm, anybody here?
  19. Pipe and slippers reminds me of my Rover driving days.
  20. Just for the record I think it looks quite nice, nice rims and bumper etc. It'd look even better without the graphics down the side.
  21. Yes but you wouldn't be in your N/A then H. So they wouldn't laugh at you You'd be in a proper car
  22. If they don't fit, it'll be the window coming out. Or you could do what my mate did, wrestle a sofa for half an hour trying to get it through the front door and living room door. Only then for me to tell him why didn't you just bring it through the patio doors..........numpty.
