    New Toys

WOW, they look very nice. Did you buy replacement wheel bearings too, I believe they will be consumables now
  5. For the "manuals" only, we wouldn't have your type at our meetings. Or another way of looking at it, the money makers not the money takers
  6. Saw a white one this morning about 11:45 ish. Had some wheels on and an exhaust. I was walking near the waxworks and the pier (I forget which pier it is now)
  7. Yep thought that would be the easiest way. I did the same when I binned the A/C on my rover coupe turbo. Anyway you didn't sign upto the Kyoto agreement, the Government did.
  8. How did you drain the air-con gas incidentally?
  9. I would have thought Chris would do anything you want him to do. Well within the realms of the car of course.
  10. A bit further down from the picture of R2D2 air-con draining machine it says this: "Now, onto the aircon pipes. DO NOT do this if you still have aircon gas in the system. Undo the 2 10mm bolts holding in the aircon pipes, quite fiddly if you have abs, the charcoal can can just be moved via undoing its 2 10mm bolts. Once these are undone pop the pipes out of thier sockets, and move onto the 2 10mm bolts holding the surround plate in. Once out the way, go back into the cabin and give the heater box a wiggle. Bobs you're uncle, fannys your aunt, theres the little blighter!!! Undo the 4 x screws holding the long air vent in place on top of the heater box, then undo the clamps on the water pipes and the matrix will just pull out...." To me all that has to be done to get the box out. Well that's my interpretation of it.
  11. Looking at the guide that's what it seems to be saying along with the 2 x 10mm bolts.
  12. Do you not need to undo coolant pipes in the engine bay for it to pull out on the inside??
  13. I might try and get along to that. I am in Blackpool tomorrow for the mass meeting for our payrise vote. I think we will be going to have a look at the Ship is it still there Wez? Somebody said it's up past Norbreck is that true Wez?

    Eboost 2

There you go, his page on them. I am thinking of trying the black one at the bottom of the page, with the scramble boost etc. http://www.gb-ent.com/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=35&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1 They look like good value to me.

    Eboost 2

I used to use an E-boost 1 on my Coupe turbo and it was a great piece of kit, easy to setup and use. A good friend of mine has started importing Gizzmo electronics (he was the sole importer for the UK last time I spoke to him) from Oz and they seem to have a good reputuation like turbosmart. They are cheaper than all the other controllers too. They do a multi-stage controller for something like £180.
  16. I had the battery in the boot on my Rover Coupe Turbo. I used the 0 gauge amp wire for both the Power and the live. I had a 200 anl fuse near the battery. Then I also had a fused distribution block in the engine. You struggle to get automotive fuses of these sizes so I used ANL fuses, I think there are also Mega fuses too.
  17. Top gear is Ingersoll-Rand, we use there windy drills at work and 90/45 degree angle windies. They aren't cheap either. I think 3 angle windies cost about £1400. But as usual BAe probably got ripped off
  18. Happy Birthday Gaz, all the best mate.
  19. Very nice that. Looks very clean.
  20. Saw a red one this afternoon in Preston town centre, it was parked up in the limpers bay on Church Street. Looked very nice and in need of a wash. It had what looked like chrome/polished rims with black 5 spokes in the centre fitted to it. Nice car! Saw some very nice cars about today, whilst out having a drive. Saw a lovely Skyline and RX-7
  21. It was the tip for a night of lust
