  1. the stock intake manifold is good for big power, I have never heard of it being a bottleneck under 900rwhp (US rwhp that is )
  2. slightly OT but what bike is it>?
  3. As above folks. Ive found the US Toyota site to buy SSTs from but I am wondering if any of the forum vendors keep them in stock Otherwise Im assuming my local Toyota dealers shoulk=d be able to get them? The SST I want is 09213-70011 and is the crank pulley tool. I am only looking for the genuine item thanks. Thanks for any info on this
  4. Their prices are MUCH more expensive than online prices. Check out the same drive on ebuyer.com. it will be much cheaper. But the 'get it now' factor can be useful. at times.
  5. Good advice from Phil. its good news mate It means your cars got the mighty Getrag V160 within it a monster amongst gearboxes
  6. Looks a very good job. Nice even panel gaps and a good paint match. Bet your well chuffed mate
  7. Looks great but I agree with Jspec Germany! I much prefer the subtle touches rather than aggressive bodykits but each to their own. Black is a great colour for a Supra
  8. Do you mean with your foot 3/4 down to the floor on the clutch, or nearly at the top of the travel releasing the clutch? If you mean with clutch engaged its because effectively pressure plate is disengaged
  9. Hows the repair mate? Hope its come back all good.

    Selling up

Awww Knew this was coming!! its a shame you've got to sell mate now you've got her peachy again but hopefully you will buy another once you have got settled into married life (and rebelled )
  11. Ive seen the whole of S2 and it is a great follow up to series 1;) better even...maybe
  12. NOOOOOOOooo...... AVOID!! Never buy a car from Keighley Trade Centre or from West Yorkshire dealers period
  13. Ive got 2 different engine stands. One of them is a dual leg one made by Valley and is allegedly able to carry 650KG. This is a complete load of BS!! It bent like hell with an M3 engine on which is very similiar to supra in size and weight (and build) Then I got another one from MC mart which is here: http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/ces-500a-engine-stand It holds the weight without bowing but it is VERY unstable if you start rolling it around! I would recommend this one if you plan on moving it around a lot http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/ces-750a-engine-stand but they are a PITA to get long straight 6 motors on using a normal engine crane! Reason being is the square base doesnt fit in the cranes V so its a bit risky (mine is anyway) with block and tackle its easy
  14. I will vote for whoever puts a VP Import race fuel pump in every petrol station and reduces the price of fuel by 50% to pre 'CRAZY' prices. I had to pay £1.19 per litre for crappy normal unleaded the other day for a van Its all wrong now that the price counter overtakes the quantity counter when you are filling up...
  15. Lovely machine, but as has been said, completely unstreetable. With a 3.4 litre motor, full boost on a GT 47-88 isnt reached till 5500-6000 rpm according to owners on SF The guy with this GT55 changed the turbo for a ball bearing 'R' version to improve spool time by 200rpm! If this revs to 10krpm his on boost powerband must be around 7k rpm -> 10k rpm Im guessing. Ridunculous
  16. Agreed! a very nice looking car though. A bonus of the engine covers is that once they are removed and a few bottles and bits relocated, there might be room for some Forced Induction
  17. Interested. Need 3 Densos as well. please pm me best price
  18. new clutch needed!
  19. I agree totally. 300zx have a nice shape...but they are no match for the muscular lines of the Supra IMO
  20. Very impressive mate. The more work and pictures I see from Gibson Trimming, the more I think I will send my interior off to them for a retrim in the not too distant future. one thing...try using photobucket.com The tags will work from there....
  21. I was on crutches for 8 weeks several years back after a sports injury (tore my lateral mensicus and they repaired it with stitches....causing LOTS of pain and a long recovery time but great end result) The best tip I could give you is to get a friend or relative etc to lay things out in easily accessable places for you in the house. Like jugs of water in the room your in with a glass and so on. If your making your own food, you need to figure out a system to get the food ona tray to where your going! I used a tray like a sledge and pushed it with my other leg into the sitting room where my xbox waited Also, do shoulder relaxation exercises (roll them gently) and treat them nicely as they are doing an abnormal amount of work compared to what they are used to! (they will BEEF up though! or mine did anyway)

If you want any tips on choosing or running the car visit BMW Forum.. Its my forum (been going a few years now..as Im a bit of a BM fanatic) theres some good info and guides on there
