  1. Im with you on that mate Just had a listing (a private plate Im selling) removed TWICE for the following reasons.. 1st time// cash was listed as a payment option?? wtf. Is cash on collection not allowed now or something? 2nd time 10 minutes later// So now it seems they are preventing people from using that line above so that sale has to go through on ebay...or be pulled early To add insult to injury, they will not credit the insertion fees for the first two auctions because 'you broke our terms' This is the first time Ive ever had an auction removed. Twice in a row is a record Also, to agree with lew, Ive had massive difficulty ever getting a credit back from ebay. and their 'customer service' is truly diabolical

    engine blown

    lol Too true...
  3. Id' drive them both to tesco The Atom is hardly a practical car for shopping ...and nor can it be considered your average showroom stock roadcar
  4. Most folks 'think' they are 'a really good driver'... The facts as viewed by others are often very different
  5. and this ones quite rapid Supra speed both would beat the atom in a straight line IMO....but I bet they cost a lot more and would lose in the twisties for sure
  6. manic little motor! Shame it looks CR*P IMO
  7. has it had a new rear bumper? or spray work on it?
  8. edit// b*gger pixelfill got there first
  9. The best tool to use is Microsoft Picture manager for easy cropping. If youve got MS office its under MS Office > MS Office Tools in the programs menu Then you can just go to edit picture > crop otherwise in paint Im not sure how you do it as I never use it! though you can select the recatangle icon > draw a box round the area you want to be the picture. Then Edit>copy Then open a blank canvas with > New Then Edit > paste its a bit messy but it worked when I tried it just now
  10. Its the most probable reason you are seeing gasket failures TBO. If they are both machined flat, some sealant compound will be more than adequate to ensure a total seal. it is a PITA taking the bits off..but once its done, its done and you wont have to keep replacing the gasket.
  11. NIce one I had not seen that.Hilarious !!
  12. Well, I just went to leave some feedback for trades on good old fleabay and got this message in a pop up window Now this is all good and well if your buying stuff...but if your a seller and a buyer has messed you about or not paid.....it is a joke It basically gives buyers carte blanche to mess sellers around without fear of any negative feeback
  13. Make sure the money is also ungetbackable as well As you dont want a chargeback situation with someone from abroad. Pound notes in the pocket
  14. Well according to this article by the BBC back in 2004 oil reserves They reckon we have technically got possibly 100 years of oil left... This I doubt because it is related to oil they 'might, maybe, somehow get to'.. and even though technology will improve, so will the rate the world gulps oil, and I dont think the two will keep up at a steady rate myself. and who knows the real reason for such high oil prices? maybe the world is now using oil at such a huge rate that they cant keep up with production? Will they end up creating restrictions on oil usage? hopefully not
  15. Oil prices are high for sure...$200 a barrel rings a bell? But are we alll being hoodwinked about the amount of oil reserves that Opec actually has?? Is there a 'timeline' of how much oil is left given current usage rates? Im sure I remember hearing about 25 years notwithstanding any new reserves they find during that time God only knows what us petrol heads will do if and when oil reserves run out Im already looking into running E85 on my new motor
  16. Very true... But even running a 'normal' petrol car will be a great deal more expensive for your average family.. People will end up freewheeling down hills like my old tightwad ex neighbour used to just to save petrol (and he did that 15 years ago!)
  17. Thats the problem....thats exactly the response of a large percentage of the population
  18. Thats exactly the problem Direct action IS needed IMHO... according to a friend of mine who owns a chain of independant petrol stations... Diesel is going to hit £1.50 per litre within the next few months and unleaded will be £1.50 litre by the end of the year :taped: Now if thats true....which I believe it is, then running a fast car on top of other increased living costs is going to get ridiculously expensive //the only way that anything will actually 'happen' is if some full on maverick types get their teeth into it and generate enough anger among the populus to revolt

    Do you smoke?

Not any more. Stopped 4 months ago. Lost the habit and desire now thank god. Cant stand the smell of them now though I 'used' to enjoy a cig down the pub now and then.
  20. Dont believe everything you read on the internet
  21. Cheers mate So Im guessing your using CP stuff then? and have never had any power issues? I think the guy was possibly talking out of his RS then....as I have only heard good things about CP in the past
