  1. Glad you like 'em - they cost me all of £160 off ebay - in good condition too. The only fiddly bit I had was removing the Mazda logo from the centre caps and replacing them with Toyota ones :)
  2. My favorite is that Cobra looking thing with a stonking great engine in it - a Wartburg, Warburger or something weird like that. Think it was Swiss made?
  3. RX8 rims mate? Usually loads of sets on fleabay dirt cheap. Like these :)
  4. Periwinkle Industrial Estate in Sittingbourne - gimme a shout when you come down and I can probably take you round there
  5. I did mine with Hammerite high temp matt black - works a treat:)
  6. Sounds like colitis - severe diarrhoea too?
  7. LOL @ col - I posted up about these months ago and no-one seemed interested (begun to think it's 'me') :) LOL From reading thir websits I'd say all the components are interchangeable with AP
  8. 32mm :) see - http://www.d2racingsport.com/brake.htm (reposted by the way :d )
  9. They have a set in their shop just around the corner from me - certainly look the biz:)
  10. Hi Uz, another ex-GT4 owner LOL. Good to hear from you mate and glad you're ok too. I see you haven't changed your driving style at all then LOL:)
  11. Cat 1 (Thatcham) is the highest isn't it? Definitely the one to go for. Speak to Matt Harwood on here - he runs Sextons Car Security in Maidstone and will be able to advise you well:)
  12. Yes, because the N/A is an import only and somehow more expensive (??????) coz of course, none of the parts are interchangeable (wrong!) meaning insurance companies can screw us for more money:( I'm not too sure how the limited mileage works exactly but I know of a couple of mates who have done it in the past. Trackers are supposed to be very good (pretty expensive too) but fitted with a Thatcham alarm and tracker the insurance should come down a bit more - depends very much on where abouts you live
  13. Good luck dude. At the end of the day, you may have to swallow the insurance costs Starting off with an N/A is a good idea, although it'll most likely save you nothing on the insurance (may even cost you more!). If you can, get a nice, tidy N/A on a limited mileage policy first off to try and keep the costs down. Also, do a bloody good search for the cheapest insurance - years ago I bought a 924 - my first six quotes were well over £1k but eventually I managed to get it down to a more manageable £600.
  14. Hijack alert!! Could someone please measure the distance between the mounting bolts on the mirrors for me please?? Got an idea on changing mine but need to know if what I have in mind will fit. Cheers

    The Ghost

Very nice motor mate - just a little surprised that you still have the Australian steering wheel fitted?

    skimmers

Toyota main dealers - I wouldn't imagine they'd cost too much (coupla quid)

    skimmers

Shims - thin pads of metal that fit between the pads and the pistons. You should also check to make sure you have the springs that fit across the backs of the pads and are held in place by the pins :)
  18. LOL - I nearly scanned the page to post it up but figured that by the time I'd done that someone would have beaten me to it:d
  19. Start it up with a cold sheet of metal 6" away from the zorst tip. Condensation will quickly collect on it and if it's oil that will show very quickly too (or just hold your hand there and feel for oil)
  20. So we, the tax payers pay. It gets taken out of the Police's budget so they can't afford to get coppers out on the streets, thus strengthening the call for more cameras:(
  21. .......until they go wong:( Been driving the wife's 5 door 1.8 ocus for the last couple of months as my engine died (oil pump failure). Still, on the bright side, absxxx is (hopefully) delivering a replacement engine tomorrow and I'll have it in place and running by next Sunday (or throw a sikkie:)) - can't wait :) The worst part is - she's sat on my drive where I see her all the time and get a little flutter in my tummy (ooh err) every time I look at her. Even got some UK front brakes that have yet to be spun.
