  2. Didn't think there was one?? I thought everything was 12v - just different wattage?
  3. Yup:Pling: Can't beat good English archers - two fingers to the French and all that:p
  4. M20 services (just past Maidstone) usually for 6;30 then on to the Chimneys in Ashford for around 7-7:30
  5. LOL. The first part looks like an average night out down Union Street in Plymouth :) Thankfully I married a girl somewhat younger than me so I doubt I'll ever have to sneak OUT of the bed LOL :)
  6. If it's what he was aiming for and the shot is repeatable then it's skill. If he can never do it again then it's luck (still bloody cool though - and you can see the 'Archer's Paradox' in action - where the arrow bends and wobbles around but still flies perfectly straight)
  7. The finished article :) Check out the shiny bits :)
  8. Standard is 4" (I think) most people use 6 - 61/2"s up front - you will need to fabricate some speaker brackets to fit them though (do a quick search - there is a template on here for a DIY job or someone may have a set going )
  9. Of course :innocent: Just been out polishing and taking a few pics mate - I can PM them to you if you like? (pics of the bling bits before any of you dogging fans pipe up:Pling: )
  10. Just getting the hang of it again now LOL. Keep on looking for excuses to pop round to the shops or something just to remind myself (and check that she still runs LOL)
  11. Yes mate - took it nice and easy both ways - never went past 90:)
  12. Cheers dude - I'll see if I can arrange a babysitter and bring ballast along too :)
  13. Stuck an N/A block back in mate - to go turbo would have (a) cost me a bloody fortune and (b) cost me my bollox when the wife found out:d (I'm not allowed a turbo (yet)) :d Stu, Dave, Mig A somewhat daunting task made so much easier by your help and support - and best of all no problems with the sausages LOL (told you they were cooked!!)
  14. Sounds good to me mate But, WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE?? :d
  15. Me and Mig did them before you even got up this morning:d (oh - you mean doing them back up again? )
  16. LOL - risking life and limb there Ewen :)
  17. Yes mate - be all polished up again soon :d The guy with the beer is Mig, the guy in the pyjamas is my next door neighbour and I'm the mutt in the engine bay:d
  18. We started like this:- then Mig found the beer and the bbq....... .....so the final lump looked like this......... :)

    ballast

Saw the title and I thought you were talking about your mrs :) (I usually refer to mine as the 'ballast')
  20. Your best bet is to mount it as far forwards as possible. If you can get it right out in front it'll look loads better. See this thread for more info http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=86302 :)
  21. Yes mate - spot on. Once we had everything connected properly it started first turn of the key:)
  22. Just finished a weekend of engine swap:d If it weren't for this forum and the good guys on here it probably would never have happened (or else cost me an arm and a leg) Luckily, I was able to get a complete replacement lump off absxxx (cheers again dude) at a very reasonable price. I was also able to persude Migster, Dave F and Stupra ( )to come over and spend the last couple of days whipping one knackered engine out (the easy bit) and replacing it with the working lump:D We had one or two slight problems getting all the bits to go in all the right places but a plentiful supply of cold beers and a barbeque running in the garage seemed to help things along nicely:d All I need to do now is get the rust off the discs, bed the new pads in and I will also be able to enjoy my UK brakes. Looks like I'm gonna have to renew my membership :d
