  1. Sumo Power are quite competitive for genuine DO Luck I believe.
  2. Only just seen this thread. norbreck Castle isn't far from me so i'll be there tomorrow. Hopefully see some of you.
  3. Here you go mate. Look really good I think.
  4. I'm in Lancashire mate. Also work all over Lancashire with my colleagues so will keep an eye out. Photos of the car and a really good description of the offenders would be good.
  5. Apologies if this is a repost. It's not the usual about Hulk's Supra. Here's a Youtube clip of the yellow TRD Supra that his son wrecked. Must have really been giving it some to bend it like that.
  6. I notice you're in Lancashire mate. Which Shell garage was it please? So as I can avoid the problems you have should I visit.
  7. I think it is a compromise between looks and handling. I am of the opinion that i'm not a track monster so i'm prepared to sacrifice a little bit of handling. Saying that though I haven't decided on 18s or 19s or what wheels yet for that matter.

    real carbon dash

Nic sells them mate. Look excellent quality. See here
  9. I've been looking at these wheels too. There is a place in Blackpool which has just started dealing them and I took a brochure away to peruse acouple of weeks back. I've not seen any in the metal yet but they look like a nice show wheel.
  10. I thought the earliest you could get it was the 15th. That's what it says on my reminder anyway.
  11. Nic for the parts and Hyper Sports get my recommendation for fitting. See my sig for a link.
  12. Off topic Luke. Your wheels ares stunning. What are they?
  13. AdzC

    New wheels etc

They look really well. What spec are they with regards to width and offset front and rear? Also any fitment issues?

    Sos!!

It's more the prospect of messing it up. Really didn't enjoy holding a blowtorch next to the car. Although the relief when those damn screws began to come out was worth it.

    Sos!!

I need to get some first

Finally did it. Took a load of heat on three of the screws. One came out with no problem. Really was at the end of my tether with that one. Still alls well that ends well. Thanks for all your advice guys. It definitely helped and gave me the confidence that it could indeed be done.

LOL I have to leave it to pop to the shop and buy a new tool as I don't have a great collection yet. Already bought a soldering iron and blowtorch.

    Sos!!

Thanks guys. It scares me using ablow torch in an area surrounded by rubber seals and paint. My problem is that I think the screw head is already stripped so don't have ny grip with the screwdriver.

    Sos!!

I know this has been done to death but i'm currently trying to change my boot rubbers. I have started on one and cut all the rubber way exposing the screws. I've heated them with a soldering iron and now just tried the blow torch method but nothing seems to be melting the glue. To make matters worse the screw heads are looking f##ked from my attempts to get them out. Advice on what to do next very much appreciated.
  20. Think you would be better off asking the question here. I'm getting really into my detailing (perhaps a little too much) but these guys really know their stuff. I know that they would tell you not to bother with Diamondbrite or other similar products.
