I have a speedo face which shows both mph and kph on mine. It is just a stick on face though which was put on by the garage I bought my car from.

My car came over from Japan with a Tanabe Hyper Medallion. Unfortunately it was rotten as a carrot and was replaced with a HKS Silent Hi-Power. I have to agree that the Tanabe was much more sedate and also exited straight from the rear bumper so would seem to fit what you're after quite nicely.

Thanks for all the replies. From what I can see the seals are in tact and it would appear to be the sideskirt rubbing albeit ever so slightly. Think i'll take it to a body shop and get it sorted to prevent it spreading further for a while.

Hi all, After some advice. I was cleaning my car yesterday and have noticed that the bottom of the door has a tiny patch of rust. It really is small (about 1cm in length) but i'm concerned that it will spread in time if not treated. Just after the best way to nip it in the bud if any of you guys have had this problem. The car has genuine OEM skirts and there is a rust stain on the sill part of the skirt where the door joins it when closed.

I think that as Supras have a projector style lense the scatter is much less than other cars that have traditional lenses and therefore do not prject the light in the same way.

HKS Silent Hi-Power if you're N/A mate. Got one on mine and it sounds lovely. With a £600 budget you should get a second de-cat too.

I've got a Griffin ITrip which is a nice unit that just plugs onto the top of my IPod Mini. They also do a product called a RoadTrip which is a charger and FM transmitter all in one neat unit.

But as you can see I started that thread praising Hyper Sports for their work. There are two sides to every story and that is the only poor experience of Hyper SR that I have personally heard. I have been there three times now and cannot rate them highly enough. I also know that other people from the Lancashire area have used them and are very happy.

I know Hyper Sports use a 'friendly' garage next to their unit for MOT on cars with decat(s). Give them a ring for details. There is a banner on top of some pagesor click the link in my signature.

Cat C write off is quite serious and as said before worse than a Cat D. It suggests that the damage was not just limited to cosmetic and some structural/chassis damage could have resulted. This could account for the uprated suspension. My advice would be to walk away, get the niggles on your car sorted and get the true value of your Skyline.

Meguiar's all the way for me too. Especially when clay bar and the 3 stage deep crystal system is used. Paint comes up like glass.

If it frees the revs up a little bit lower down the range then I'll be made up. Just concerned about the exhaust note with it being NA. I know my HKS Silent Hi Power has got a middle box before the muffler so that might help a little.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'm really happy with the exhaust note at the moment and don't want it to be so loud that i'm embarrassed to drive it. Already sorted a 'friendly' MOT station so don't have to worry about swapping cats over Just trying to weigh up if it's worth the £120

Searched for this topic but can only find information regarding TTs that have been decatted. I'm considering getting the second cat on my NA removed and was wondering if this was a worthwhile mod for the NA lump and whether there was anything else which I may need to take into consideration when it's done. Only other engine modification is a HKS Silent Hi Power. Everything else is standard. Any comments/advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I fitted some PIAA LED Saturn sidelights. Bought them from Demon Tweeks about 4 years ago and had swapped them into all the cars i've had. I've got the two LED version but they some in 4 and even 6 LED now as well. Mine are the white ones but you can get white/blue, blue, red or white/red. My local Motorcare has them in now too.

Think that may be a Japanese tax disc. I've got a sticker behind the rear view mirror and one on top left of windscreen with 12 numbers around it with the 11 highlighted and number 11 in middle of the disc. Also got a parking permit as the link above. Quite like them and haven't removed them. Gives the car an authentic Japanese look.
