  1. Mine took a while can't remember exactly how long but it was a few weeks. Sit tight and give it another week. Might be a delay with getting them to Sweden.
  2. I'll put money on it not ggoing that far. Had a similar situation with a mechanic who did some work on my brother's car and he backed down when he knew I was serious about going to court.
  3. Was thare any sort of warranty honoured when you bought the vehicle from the dealer? If not it shouldn't matter because whenever you buy something it has to be 'fit for purpose' (this is also the case with private sales although the term is nowhere near as long). I would argue that the problems you have encountered are the dealer's responsibility and should fix them. If he cannot fix them in a reasonable time or standard then you should get your money back. Speak to Citizens Advice Bureau and I also find Consumer Direct very helpful.
  4. I thought you had a 'scuff' as in some paint had been removed leaving a mark. If the paint is crazed underneath the lacquer then it will be very difficult to get back without repainting as it will be where the bumper has been stressed and cracked the paint. Only thing I can suggest is possibly some polish such as SRP if you have it in your garage if not then some professional cutting compound may do the job but may require some light wet sanding and buffing with a machine polisher. I can't guarantee any of the above will work so if in doubt see what a bodyshop has to say or try here http://www.detailingworld.co.uk
  5. Can you put a picture of the mark up and give a detailed description of it? I have removed a scuff from my rear bumper recently and can advise you on what I did if you want.
  6. Very nice mate. I take the wheels off and clean the inside rim every few months along with cleaning inside the wheel arch. What products have you used.
  7. HKS Silent Hi-Power is the one to go for IMO.

    Dunlop SP9000?

I've got them on my 17s. 235/45/17 on front and 255/40/17 on rear. Not had any problems and would recommend.
  9. I presume you've entered the programme mode and gone through the column/row thing to rule out turning any features off. If so only things I can suggest as mine did this once would be to switch it into valet mode and back as I knocked mine into this setting by accident. Hope that helps.
  10. Mine was a lower control arm. Got a replacement from Steve Manley.
  11. But on the MKIV Supra there's a holder on the inside of the fuel flap where the cap srews into for safe keeping whilst fuelling up.
  12. I've got it recorded and if somebody can advise me how to sopy it from my Sky+ box and host it for people to view on here then i'll gladly do it.
  13. It's in the second half if you want to skip people doing doughnuts in the snow during the first half.
  14. It's 131 on Sky don't know what it is on Freeview or other systems.
  15. Just been watching Carnage on Men and Motors and there was a feature on this Supra. Seen lots of pictures of it on the forum but this showed the vehicle in motion and modifications done to it. Very impressive machine. I'm sure most will recognise it from this picture. I have it recorded on my Sky+ box but don't have the facility to post it up here. It's repeated at 1:30 in the morning.
  16. Mine's still original. Haven't actually bought any new games for it yet.
  17. Been thinking about getting this too. Think I will go tomorrow and get it.
  18. What is the Angus Burger Love the standard corporate answer
  19. Usually it's a fixed penalty at the roadside for 6 points and £200 fine. If it goes to court you may well het more than this unless you have very good mitigating circumstances. Then once you have certificate of insurance for the vehicle in question, or a friend has then you can collect the vehicle but will still have to pay the recovery costs and storage fee.
  20. Top Gear is definitely the most entertaining. I find Fifth Gear a little too educational some times. However Fifth Gear has improved since last series when that Tim Lovejoy chap was on it. What a knob he was. just made a poor programme even worse.
  21. I suffer badly to but have found that Tesco and ASDA's own brand that contain Loretadine are pretty good. They have the same ingredients as Clarityn and are also non drowsy.
  22. They can also be set to auto arm and lock when the car is left unattended without having to press the fob. They can also as you say be set to lock at a certain rev range. Mine is set to auto arm the alarm after the last door is closed but not auto lock which prevents any accidental locking out.
  23. It's normally a case of entering the program mode via the valet switch and going to the appropriate column and row to enable/disable features. Obviously this depends on how old the Clifford is and whether you have a manual for it.
  24. Have you got the air con on? My revs increase and decrease ever so slightly when air con is engaged. If not then it could be your idle control causing a problem.
