An evening reminder for anyone that may have one. The drone of TTC is doing my head in.

Sorry for the confusion, my mistake. I've only been looking into it today. Reading the guide here; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35926 and this one here; http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/supra/turbo.htm makes it sound like the 'Intake Air Control Valve (IACV)' is the actuator part of the assembly and that the Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV) is separate to control it. If you do have one, and its in good working order, £20 delivered sounds fair. I don't suppose you could check before the weekend could you?

Yeah, just done the same, it seems the coil is glued in.

As Doom said above its just a little pneumatic solenoid valve. When you see it you can't believe it costs £80

Cheers Dr D. I'll buy a new one if need be. I'm hoping someone will be along with one soon. There are plenty of people running TTC that don't use them anymore. While I wait I might open it up and have a look to see what I can see.
11. As above, I need an IACV VSV as mine has died. If you have one spare, please let me know. Ta.

14. I thought they came with spring clips on them from the factory.
15. Have a play with this: Supra Tyre fitment.xls
16. That will be the problem then. As I said above take it to a decent tyre shop and get all 4 balanced. Probably cost you 10 - 15 quid.
17. Check tyre pressures then wheel nuts for security. If thats ok get all four wheels balanced. They should check to see if your wheels are straight at the same time as all the pot holes on the road at the moment have bent a lot of wheels! More expensive causes could be wheel bearing or a warped brake disc/s but you would feel that when braking also. Its probably just wheel balancing if you don't feel it at lower speeds and it disappears above 70.
18. It crept up on me. When they came out I didn't like them at all. I thought the spoiler was silly and they had the stance of a roller skate! ( I was a teenage grunger driving a mk3 Cortina at the time!) Then about 6 years ago I was in my 300zx and one pulled out of a side turning in front of me and gave it some beans snaking off into the distance. It looked and sounded awesome! I wanted and looked for one immediately.
19. Superb pictures Lbm! ......and I thought you was just a pratt with a bunch of bananas on your head.
20. Hi Matt, nice to meet you last week. I'm a bit gutted I missed this yesterday, looks good. As we were at Silverstone all last weekend the missus said no motor-sport this weekend so we had to go out for lunch up the coast instead! Will keep an eye out for when your next in Lynn and do my best to come along. Really fancy having a go actually. Are all your practice days announced on the drift works site?
