The car has just failed the MOT and I need a set of flexible brake hoses to get it through. My mechanic can't seem to source any so can anyone suggest a good place to get them from? Cheers in advance.

I'm having my fuel pump replaced next week and the mechanic said if it's a plastic fuel tank then it needs to be almost empty before removing the pump. Is this correct? Haven't seen anyone mention that you need to empty the tank before removing the fuel pump. If someone could clarify that would be great.

I did this with mine a few years ago and it worked perfectly for a week or so. After a long run down to Cornwall and back it decided to empty the entire contents of the matrix into the drivers foot well! Had to replace the matrix in the end.
