  1. As mentioned above; -EDFC costs puts them at £599 on the site, if you add the Pillow ball mounts note the offer for free fitting... bargain (if you can get there of course)?
  2. I know I was kinda making a sarcy point I am fully aware of all the unpleasantness that body panels hide A bit like all that friggin spaghetti behind your pimp entertainment system you reeeaallly wish you had the time to tidy up and hide, but you just got everything working and don't want to touch it

    n/a top speed?

Had mine to 141 leps GPS confirmed on a long straight private road (honest) - was reading about 150 on the clock, backed off as the nose went light, felt like there was a little more in it, but don't know how much (Something like 143mph for vr on a 747 init? bloody aerodynamics).
  4. Has anyone done a completely transparent body kit yet?
  5. Hmm.. I am feeling inspired... pipework not withstanding.. Top Mounted IC (on the roof that is), Two SMIC's - on the wings? and an Rear Mounted IC (tucked under the spoiler?)... RAWKS! I wonder if any Paintshop/Photoshop specialists could mock me up a concept drawing of that potential badassed charge cooling maniac!!! ;) Seriously, it's stuff like this that makes life interesting. We can't all like the same things, I don't like the Veilside kit, some people love it, Lambo doors - well I like the look of em, but nobody else likes them (and they really do break from the design) and they have practicality issues (plus my chap at the local garage has nothing but bad will for them after installing some in the past and them giving nothing but headaches). I have only ever seen this type of FMIC install on rather tasteless looking Novas. Extreme MODs - that *Massive* turbo installed by some American Supra.. err Pioneers (with too much money and free time) posted some time ago is my idea of fun extreme modding Widening or lenghening (ooer) bespoke body kits are cool, also front tilting all in one piece bonnets are pretty funky (not too many about). More power to you for doing something - erm... different Some serious practical issues to think about, maybe you can get the FMIC relocated if you find the afore mentioned issues rearing their ugly heads. How about something else to make the car stand out? Edit: P.S. I really think it is not a look that appeals to my tastes
  6. Paypal should be winging its way to you now Amigo.
  7. I am aware of Thor Racing doing some: http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/Toyota_Supra_MkIV_Auxilar-THOR00111.asp Others may also do them, so check out the various traders/hobbyist guys (Many others seem to do various shiny bling bits too ) - always good to trawl through the shinies of all the Traders and Hobbyists. (I try not to do it too much as the missus is keeping a close eye on my shiny bits expenditures).

  9. Picked mine up today from post office (they didn't put up too much of a fight), they look nice n shiny Very well packaged! Cheers Amigo, most impressed ... will fit later along with some other shiny bits
  10. As you said: "Track & Trace Results We have tried to deliver your item from our EAST READING Delivery Office before 13:39 on 10/10/06 and we have left a while you were out card." No card waiting for me today - not sure wtf they are playing at recently. This isn't the first supposed card I have been left.. gits. I will go pick up tomorrow from the post office - swines. They will make me jump through hoops without one of those cards Might make a complaint whilst there too heh. Cheers For following that up Amigo, Looking forward to getting them on the car
  11. Feeling left out - I think the posties here are smoking dope and sifting through my wares... a lot of stuff taking forever to reach me recently
  12. I am so sorry to hear this, please accept my deepest heart-felt condolenses.
  13. Sounds a little like when my CAT was on its way out (although it was about 2500rpm under load and although low growl had a tinny edge to it), chap at garage took a peek and the thing disintegrated. - ah well - decat it was
  14. I don't know about anyone else, my day is so filled with doing stuff I absolutely have to do, followed by other stuff other people want me to do - then having to do some other stuff I really don't wanna do but have to, where the heck do people find time to have religious beliefs? - I have enough imposed on me as it is. I was brought up through a church school which did nothing but turn me right off religion full stop. I like to do what I have to - carry on in my own way, be left alone mostly, and have good conversations and fun with friends... I try not to hate or dislike anything - takes too much feckin effort.
  15. Dabbling with the NA-T route. Have a ton of stuff sat in garage waiting to go on her (missed my spot to get her done sooner rather than later due to me underestimating time for parts to get delivered and various other factors ): Walbro pump, Sytec Filter, Aeromotive FPR, HKS rail, 720cc venom injectors, Blitz SUS intake, XS Power single kit (either to be NA-T'd or put onto a GTE lump and dropped in), AEM EMS,Tein Super Streets with pillows with EDFC, Titan Cams, HKS belt, Denso sparkies, GReddy 355mm 8pot front brake kit, Bomex bumper, CF fan shroud and FMIC cover.. I have probably forgotten something important here... Things that may be inc: Depending on NA-T or GTE route: HKS DLI (but as Martin mentioned to me I could go digital ignition with a bit of fiddling and stuff). Oil relocation/cooling kit - lines etc for oil return on turbo for NA-T plus associated bits. New radiator/cooling system if heat becomes an issue. Things outstanding: Turbo timer, various dials. Custom exhaust. Things I will run until it creaks/breaks: Clutch, Auto box, Diff, Cheap n cheerful XS turbo... + any other suspects. Bodywork: Well, Bomex will be going on - and depending if anything can be done with the NS front wing (bloody Japs spanking them before sending them here ) - having that re-aligned/or a new one fitted. Complete respray with a paint that I can't bloody well remember the name of (kind of dark silvery metal with oil slick rainbow pattern when the sun hits it). Replacement motorized mirrors are likely in for good measure - ooh just thought, will be modifying the bonnet depending on the temperature situation. Interior: Planinng on finishing my brushed aluminium dash off properly (a few bits left to stick on doors really, so not the dash), blacking the carpet up, fixing a few niggly aesthetic annoyances - and plenty of shiny bits. What is on her already: Well from a stock Jap NA Auto import: 18" ACE Alloys (I think they were called F1 or some such, but can't find them on their site anymore) - recently refurbed, trimmed up refurbed dash/centre console, delimeted/converted, stainless dials, NRG short hub/boss and funky shiny quick release kit with reasonable aftermarket steering wheel, aftermarket hand brake, complete decat, APEXi AFC Neo, re-trimmed seats in blue leather with Supra logo. ITG panel filter... there may have been a few other misc bits. Good lord, they don't kid when they say you get on a slippery slope!!!!

    Texas Holdem

From an age old memory, didn't the US military used to use (possibly still do) an algorithm based on atmospheric interferance to calculate random number seeds for encryption?
  18. lol, well welcome aboard Amiga!!

    Supercharger

I have been looking for info on supercharging the supe, or even making it a nasty double induction (twin charged?? - no idea on terminology) - mechanism. I have heard tell of (but seen no facts/figures) on supercharged originally NA supes. If you can live with dropping out the air con, apparently this is infinitely doable. I would be interested in any details if anyone has any myself I myself am attempting to go the NA-T (or possibly GTE lump drop in depending on an up and coming prospect) - route Usually for a straight NA, people recommend fuel system upgrade (pump, filter, regulator, rail, injectors), induction and exhaust (decat + aftermarket), cam gears and maybe an AFC (air/fuel computer - Apexi AFC I/II/Neo) + a nitrous system for best bang per buck power. Fuel system isn't *so* important on an NA unless you plan on ramming huge amounts of nitrous through your system, or plan on going forced induction in the future. So many toys, so little time. Most people will tell you - if you have an NA and want power, sell NA and go TT. They may be right, but it all depends on budgetry requirements and your love for the car itself. I am still a noob though, so that is my excited stunted and blinkered view of the supe upgrade route at this stage
  20. Where do the water injection systems fit into all tihs?

    Sons off to Uni

Is he going to Cov and not Warwick? I had a fun time at Cov uni ;-) doing drugs... oh no wait... Pharmaceutical Chemistry... that was the degree heh. I used all my biology and chemistry knowledge to its maximum potential... and became a software engineer rofl A lot of very good engineers have bloomed from Cov. They always used ot boast about the various achievements the engineering guys there made, or subsequently went on to make.
