I might catch you guys there! Comet car park is only a few miles from me -
Hiya, Have you tried completely removing all the ULead software (came with the CC?) - and possibly the drivers for the camcorder (Is it USB or Firewire?). Plug the camcordeer back in and let it set up and provide the drivers for it - another thought, have you got the latest drivers for the model you have? Once this has set itself up try Windows Movie Maker again, it worked surprisingly wwell for me after I removed the ULead gash. Cheers, Simon.

Might have to check that out, cheers for that. I have about 5 years worth of digital holiday snaps to print/organise... sheesh

I have some Titan ones in the post, as I too was told to go with the 5 bolt design. Unorthadox, Titan and AEM seem to have adopted this as the way to go. I could have sworn I have seen some piccies of HKS 5 bolt ones somewhere though. Edit: Looks like there are some ugly looking GReddy 5 bolt ones too

Possibly me, although I passed a silver one while going into Reading heading towards the A329 and gave a wave

lol showing age there Unofficial Minder Fan Site IMDB Link and of course, old faithful Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minder_(TV_series) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Daley I used to love watching that back in the day - I was young then honest

I always thought that the more accurate your timing was, the more you could tune out of your car. Reliable accurate timing adjustments for the win Stock ones are reasonable to be sure, but you cannot really adust them and they are always set in such a way to be so-so performance - taken as an average of a stock car with mass production manufacturing variations. I have some in the post, so will find out for myself soon enough
-
Ah yeah, bleed the feckers first (assuming you haven't already) - me and my assumptions - air bubble = cheapest and easiest to fix solution. Have they been ropey ever since you replaced the lines/pads?
-
I believe, to be considered for a "classic" policy, you have to state that the car is low yearly milage (taken out on weekends), not a daily runner, be over a certain age (I don't know the qualifying age) and garaged only at premises insured. I don't think that classic car policies are *any* cheaper than your bog standard run-around insurance (in fact may end up being more pricey), and you cannot accumulate or use NCD on them (well you may be able to with some insurers *shrug*). The insurance company usually requests lots of proof of the vehicle state - photos/documents etc, and need to know all mods as they will agree a guaranteed price for the vehicle should anything ever happen to it (I believe the only positive thing about having classic car insurance). This may not be the same for all insurers I guess, but it was what my better half said Norwich Union used to require.
-
What are the benefits of being a "classic" car with regard to insurance? Edit: Feeling dim, will just ask my other half in the morning, she worked for Norwich Union Car and Home insurance for years before they moved every useful job to India... (always overlooks useful local resources )
-
lol *whimper* lol Insurance... oh the grimey underbelly of the wonderful passtime of owning a Supe. Hey maybe we can petition to have the Supe registered as a classic? Now all we have to do is stop them importing too many and bring in a law to stop chavs purchasing them!

Sounds like the brake master cylinder mate not a cheap item to replace sadly. £215+VAT from Mr. T for OEM, I believe you can get other after markets if you are lucky...

To be honest you would have to do a wonderfully intricate description of all the surrounding events and factors, present all the potentially questionable activities she partook in and derive from that a core set of values based on the square root of pi divided by the diameter of my elbow... I can just see Jane now... Ethical WTF do you want from Me? I worked my ass off get the job done, and now you question my ethics!?!? *cue pout and bad mood for a whole month* Edit: Does Jane drive a Supra?
-
She did a pukka job! Good girl. Nuff said.

I believe the mats in question do not have the logo stitched in, and have some large stuck on silver Supra logos. Without seeing them in the flesh - who knows tbh. They may be just fine. They look ok from the photo, there are one or two comments have lead me to believe they *may* not be the best quality, although for 20-30 notes, probably much the same quality you would expect from some Halfords specials Feedback: - Quality not as good as I expected, Logo very naff and cheap. - Not very happy ... the R32 sign should have been sewn in Reply by oej62: no where do i state that logo is embroidered ,why not ask? In all fairness, the majority of feedback for the stuff was +ve, so it is likely a make your own mind up issue

Seriously speaking, around town on a tenner in an NA supe (my experience to date - and about to change) - I got between 16-21mpg depending on the amount of lead in my right shoe, giving you between 38 - 50 miles per tenner (oops usually bordering the 38 - driving miss daisy becomes more eco vialable at this rate, but bloody well nowhere near as fun)... If you are talking motorway: 58-62 miles per tenner spent (at current prices approx) - drops rapidly away with passing annoying middle laners .

He will be missed. You had to love his crazy antics. I mean, if he had been eaten by a croc, or bitten by a deadly snake or spider, you might understand it, but to be taken out by an accident with an creature that only has one other recorded fatality against it in Australia... barmy!

God help me... I should be going the AEM Plug and Pray route for my auto after she has undergone her overhaul... I expect the time frame of my work is going to far exceed the time requirements for a sensible response in this case - with that mind though, I too would be interested in any answers to this thread.

Aww man... seeing pictures like that makes my soul weep. As long as you are ok - tis only a lump of metal in the end... a heart wrenching loss... but metal nonetheless.

Hiya, *shameless Hijack, but still kinda on topic* Just curious I have seen some previous mention of XS Power kit being - for want of other words "dubious", but I have had the devils time finding specific substantiated evidence to this end (I have been trying to search the supraforums but be damned if it isn't a complete hag at the moment to get any response out of). Is there evidence that these turbos are a no no? Do they cause catastrophic failures? Is this anecdotal evidence? I am only a little concerned as I have managed to acquire a full single trubo kit from XS power (very cheap second hand never installed still boxed). Of course we all hear horror stories about various things, but if there is real evidence that these kits are bunk - I will simply re-sell and re-think. Cheers, Simon.

Aye, amazing the difference in noise levels once you sort the rubbers. (I also only replaced the bottom ones). Word of caution though, the screws can be an absolute ass to get out. Make sure you get the right sized screwdriver for the job - those sneaky Japanese engineers locktite the bejesus out of those particular screws (who knows why?? sick joke?).
