  1. Quick question - how easy is it to pop the side repeaters out of a standard pre-facelift wing and replace with my naff yet funkier than yellow - clear indicators? - well let me re-phrase that - how does one go about it? [Feel free to rebuke me if this is covered in an obvious FAQ, but my searches haven't revealed any specific advice so far]. I assume it is so easy that I have wasted vital electrons posting this message, but I have been known to approach a simple thing from all the wrong angle and end up beating with a hammer and hacksaw - only to find out turning the dohicky anti-clockwise would have removed it with no bother!!! (I am also worried about *just applying pressure* - to bits I am unsure are designed to take a bit of pressure). Any help/advice on this hopefully trivial matter greatfully received * dons asbestos suit hoping to be treated gently *
  2. I always thought the tray "helped" with air flow through the engine bay - might be a load of old horse crap though Mine managed to start to sag a while back and only onticed it after doing some naughty leptons down the A329 into work and subsequently going over a speed bump (schhhhrape - wtf is that?) - look under the front and it is like the air scoop from a feckin F16. I dubbed it the poor mans active front spoiler - pops down at speed! I fixed it up by tucking it back and strategically placing cable ties through various spots - seems ot be holding for now and only a small hole in it from the speed bump. Also I was quotes something like £86 from Mr T for a new one.
  3. Signature to let I tend not to pay too much attention to sigs to be honest.

    crap nav

My Navman iCN520 isn't the best or most up to date tool in the box... it does try to send me the wrong way up one way streets a fair bit and insist that I can fit my Sup down a 3 foot wide country path, or better still insisted there was a road across a field!!! (Also it doesn't believe my house exists!!) That being said I tend only to use it for generally getting me in the right area, or tracking speed/distance/eta I try never to smash expensive gadgets!!! I always regret it.
  5. Mmmm nummy, turned up today :) Very happy with these Wayne, definitely worth the wait! My crappy camera phone photos in bad light on a dark work floor... they really do look great in the flesh :)
  6. lol wtf, Want to sell bling will accept cyberz - haha... oh, no wait.. that works for me
  7. Thought they were the same company
  8. LOL.. thank fook you were kidding. Would have been bloody awful P.S. GIT!!! Look at all that club concern you have wasted
  9. Shit mate, that is un-fuggin believable. Whereabouts is this? CCTV footage? ... still cannot feckin believe it :( My soul weeps for you bud. Hope you aren't hurt too bad other than the loss of the supe?
  10. Group buy lol - nice piece of kit Amigo. Definately over-engineered for its purpose, which makes it all the more cool IMO - and made by your own fair hands... so many bonus kudos points there I guess the materials would cost a little too much for general consumption to make an item like that worthwhile to manufacture?
  11. A while ago I got my NRG quick release boss kit from Evasive motorsports: Short Hub Quick Release Adapter it wasn't terribly expensive ($95 -> about £50-60 all in including shipping) and looks sexy too (only down side is it took 3 weeks to get to me). Edit: Ah forgot I also had to buy the adapter bit separately at an extra $70 - oops - but still all in all not terrible for the overall finish so it ended up being about £90 - whoops - see how that slippery slope of spending starts? Edit 2: updated URL's above.

    B*tch!

I had a woman trying to quote me on insurance when I first got the Supra... She just could not help calling it a feckin Subaru... and at one point she called it a Toyota Subaru!!! NO LOVE, "SUPRA!" Do you do doovde? How about T'iv? Lk'dT'iv? I hear Hoomv sell them!
  14. Here here - in da faq kplzthx I have a twin scroll turbo with a non compliant manifold - guess I will see no benefits Bummer! Cheers Amigo, excellent bit of info.
  15. That does indeed look like something creeping up the fan blades I have seen this before, pretty much as Jake describes and it was the fan fooked.
  16. Are these recorded delivery? This is not me being funny Wayne, I know you are good for this, but I had other stuff sent by an esteemed member of this forum (shiny knob bits), and as you - they were good as their word - but I never had a sodding "we tried to deliver" message - *but* my stuff was waiting at the post office (and would have been until they sent it back). I don't trust them as far as I can throw them!! So if I should have had them, let me know and I'll trapse all over them as before
  17. Bit bloody cold tonight though! and that is a large lump of metal to heat Mine did something similar. Once she got up to temp she was purring like a kitten though. Normal for my old gal is about 1600rpm when cold until the temp gets to somewhere normal (this makes the auto rather - interesting to drive from cold, a bit like running a/c in summer - idling in traffic, then a/c picks up / revs increase - woah baby, lets not mount the car in front!) then she drops to 600 idle.
  18. LMAO... I am going to be saying Doovde and L'cd'Tiv tomorrow and getting some of *those funny looks*
  19. Natwest have been pretty good to me over the years. I haven't spent a single penny in "charges", just interest (I went over my OD quite a few times ). Any time any charges have appeared I have called them and discussed it, and they have written them off for various reasons and actually have been more interested in keeping my business on a freindly note, so they have kept my loyalty . I find as long as I keep in touch with them when I can see troubles coming, it has been possible to avoid charges (well mostly, I guess you can't take the p*ss too much) - [*ring ring* Yes Sir, what can we do for you? - I just bought a Supra... hmm I see, we will increase your credit zone to £18000000000, that should help cover the yearly fuel bill]. Apparently, this goes for all your util bills too - if you see the sh*t approaching the large rotating fan, call em Communication is king, although I am aware of some people not having quite the same experiences as me.
  20. Ok it seems that if you are an interested bidder in the auction you can see all the ID's, but if you are viewing it anonymously all you will see is bidder. Edit: Ok, I give up - it must be something I am missing, as I can see id's anonymously and with no interest in the auction (pooing all over my idea). Must be high value auctions only? Edit Edit: Ah, I can see it on one or two auctions for cars only. Heh, I guess thats what you guys are normally looking at I normally only look at *TAT* on eBay, cos pretty much thats all it is worth dabbling with on there
  21. I am normally a mild mannered individual, but someone doing this to my Supra, after she is re-sprayed.... I would hunt them down and do something... unpleasant. Hmm, what about opening up the abdomen and applying 12 volts across their intestines? - that pretty much would make them think twice about hurting my pride and joy again!!
  22. Is that just for automotive auctions, or is it an option when setting the auction up? Some small items I have bids on look normal to me at the moment (although - these really are pidldy little items ). Edit: Just saw rays post. Blimeys!
  23. Seems ok to me amigo. Are you still having problems?
  24. LOL... yeah - buy some chavvy £20 mats from Halfrauds and keep your bling Supra ones to hang on the wall ... or you could invest in a Bling Mat Protector 2000™ : Only £99.99 Cheers Wayne, looking forward to replacing my crummy £20 halfrauds mats with something slightly more schlinky underfoot.
