  1. sdavies

    happy birthday CJ

    Penblwydd Hapus i Chi!
  2. It's not essentially the going out and getting leathered, or the such - everyone can tell when they are fooked. It is the day after that leathering that catches most! (and what I almost fell foul to) You *have* to be in work etc, and you hadn't planned it - you think to yourself - I fell fookin awful, but guess I should turn in to work.... that's the dangerous bit! STAY HOME if in doubt At least until mid-day or something. Easier to make an excuse of flu, or bangalore belly than being stopped for drink driving, or worse - being caught up in an accident!
  3. Arse! My christmas doo tomorrow (today?)! Will be non compus mentus! I seriously need to catch up with you guys, getting annoying now - always something gets in the way... so near yet so far! Will have ot be a new years bloody resolution - must attend Supra meets! (although with the money being spent on the car, I need to do something to get it appreciated (the missus isn't appreciating it too much ))
  4. Am with you there! Driven when *dubious* myself after a night out, thinking I was ok... then realising afterwards.. I was feeling a little too out of sorts many many many moons ago though, an experience never to be repeated as I felt not only physically terrible, but thought about wtf I would feel like if anything had happened. I do believe that many people drive when *ill* (not drunk) when they shouldn't - sadly no test or law for that! p.s. - house falling through = blessing in disguise... just decided it means more cash for the Supe :d:d
  5. beware the chrimbo zero tolerance booze thingy! 2 hours per tinny to metabolize amigo!!! p.s. pished meself, and going to be even more so tomorrow as it is company chrimbo doo! I also just found out that my house purchase of 7 months delay has just crumbled so am mega fuggin gonna get scrambled!
  6. As per: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=2428 Apparently: I was interested in this myself... need to replace the skanky little mofo.
  7. It has been "ok" for me so far - to be honest, you *could* use one of Jakes terms... "GO FOR IT!!!" lol... It hasn't done me any harm *twitch twitch*. I have to use it to test browser implementations against customer web applications... so far to be honest, it hasn't been too bad.
  8. My cat love Christmas She almost stripped bare an artificial tree by chewing on it over night... you don't realise the half of it until they start parading around with tinsel sticking out of their bum!!! I had no words....
  9. I believe it to be a repost Amigo, always a funny listen though
  10. £20 eBay polishing kit a few hours of elbow grease, a lot of mess and one minor upper respiratory problem later, you will have your shiny pipe :d
  11. Asses! I absolutely hate this stuff. Sorry to hear it Amigo. I'll keep the proverbials open and listening for you mate (for what little it is worth, sadly (or gladly) I don't know the *right* (or wrong) crowd for this sort of news to get to me). As to subverting alarms/immobillizers - If someone wants your ride bad enough, I am sure there is a truck with a Hiab they can source easily :( Will consider a tracker when all my work is finished.
  12. Opted for Tein Super Streets myself witht he EDFC option... seems to be good so far

  14. Possibly not, as in most cases the individual adding the signature advert/"big-up" hasn't been asked to do it, are not affiliated with the trader/company and as such don't make any money from the ads? If they are affiliated with the company/trader, and/or the trader/company are not paid up traders/members here, then there is in my mind scope for charging, or insisting the ad be removed - as it costs our own traders to advertise here this would be unfair. That being said though, as mentioned above, you don't need to be a paid up trader on these boards for someone to start a thread saying how wonderful company/trader(x) is, but that leaves the thread open for debate and people can post their comments. A sig could be considered a more subtle way of getting an ad onto the boards sneakily. Do traders insist on a format for bigging them up in their sigs? If they started doing that it would start getting a bit iffy. If an individual was making money or starting to get sizable discounts from the signature ad maybe you could argue that the club as an entity should benefit and a "nominal donation" be made to the club funds? - then how would you police any of this? Just my thoughts - not lore
  15. Simple solution - buy a MkIV and come join us :d
  16. For a large sub boot install it does. Either that or you can mount it where your rear seats are (a less trodden path).
  17. I beg to differ, I have managed to fit an experimental typhoon class soviet fast attack sub and full complement of crew into my glove compartment!!! (or was that just the DVD of Hunt for red October??)
  18. Hahah yeah, excuse the Bob Flemming responses - I knew it was a bad idea to stop the BCG injections!!! Welcome to the board (and in some cases - bored). Any of the traders on here will be able to help I am sure Make yourself a full member and you can enjoy all the wonderful advice, wit, humour and politically heated debates reserved for our special elite following!! (* keeping straight face honest *). Free asbestos straight jacket with every mebership :d
  19. I think most that go this route remove the space saver spare wheel and extend it into the space that it takes. Custom installations can include some remodelled MDF fabrications. Surprised you haven't found a few bits and pieces in the ICE tech section Edit: Not sure you can access the ICE section without being a member, sorry
  20. I had no idea it was in fact so easy I may as well go and die in shame for asking Finger-Thumb small tug they came out - pulled wire out a bit, popped clear bulb out - put yellow bulb in. Slotted back into indicator - popped in - grand total of about 60 seconds per side - ROFL. They do make a huge difference to the look - I hadn't realised! (The little things eh?). Thanks again guys
  21. I refer to her, as - well - her, she - babe The miissus refers to her as "The Slut" lol My old man always asks 'How is "The Beast"' - haha, no she aint a beast... yet
  22. Thank ye kindly gents. Much appreciated! And yes, I think I can see what you mean with the new repeaters - makes sense now.
  23. LOL, was a random "jacking" picture I found
  24. http://www.lilviv.com/motoring/cars/supra/engine/vivjack1.jpg ??? What's the going rate for jacking ???
