This is true.........tried everyone to get a new F1 GSD3 after i picked up a flat at supra pod. Goodyear have discontinued these so the only way you'll get one is if a store has them sitting on a shelf somehwere. Tried ENVY, PRO Alloys. And everyone else i can think of. If someone claims they can get you one id tell them to ring goodyear before they promise, casue it aint gonna happen. Went for the Falken 452 instead as ive heard these are damn good and much cheaper.( do a search yourself on these tyres) was £140 instead of goodyears £180. Hope that helps, ben

Look like the noisy day is £299 mate, £139 has a 98bd limit??

And how the hell did you BPU guys manage to outpace a 360?? Id love to think my car is a match but the official 360 1/4mile is just over 12 secs. Thats T78 territory!!
-
Appreciate what your saying cable, I know most supras arent standard but then again i am a supra owner.......the origional thread was a question on supra performance comparisons by a fella that seems new to the supra scene. It seems more relevant to give him a realistic comparison of the standard car as we know any car would be fast if it had big bucks spent on it.
-
jc1300. To be fair, alot of these comparisons arent with standard Supras though. A Standard supra wouldnt be as fast as a TVR and a 360 modena casue it has around 300bhp and weighs 1.5tons Standard supra TT 0-60 was quoted at 5.1 and 1/4mile around 13.5secs when new. Most of the supra TTs on here some of which have had Basic Performance Upgrades costing about £1000 are runnin between 12.8 secs and 13.5 at the 1/4 mile with 0-60 times in the high 4s id guess( these would have about 380bhp) Looking at 1/4 mile comparisons, the standard supra TT performs much more closely with the BMW m3 (13.5), porsche 911(13.2) and possibly the ferarri 355(13.0). I found all of these figures on the net so might vary slightly. The supra t78 in the vid was probably close to 550bhp id guess so id like to think it would beat a 360 buts its not your average supra!!

Original toyota OEM sideskirts In gunmetal grey
tucky40 replied to tucky40's topic in Parts for Sale
These are used and currently on my car............condition on the description is shown as new and unused which is incorrect............i dont know how to change this. -
Hi guys, These skirts will more than likely be off my car and available in about a month. They are original polyeurothene side skirts, in gunmetal grey and great condition. Looking to replace them with something more like the Blitz skirts cause im a fussy b*stard and want something more inkeeping with the rest of the kit. Will go to the highest bidder but im hoping for at least £300 cause they are original toyota. Thanks, ben.

On one run im pretty sure my car managed a 1/4 on around 11 secs and produced about 640bhp. Not bad for a BPU TT supra!!

So these things dont seem at all practicle really homer. You find a nice quiet stretch of 'flat road'. Notice your showing a G reading and therefore this road really isnt flat at all. Pop the car in neutral, hand brake on, tilt your meter untill it reads zero. Just as your ready to go you see a car coming in your rear view mirror and so you have to bin the run and start all over again. This is the problem ive had so far and i cant find a totally private road anywhere near me!!
-
ha ha easier said than done jamesmark. let me know how your readings turn out.
-
Hey guys, I bought one of these not long ago as i was interested to see what sort of 0-60 times my car was capable of. These are supposed to be extremely accurate and in theory they are. I did some runs on the flattest quiet roads i could find but still got some very random readings. I noticed that the meter tended to read a G force while stationary on every road as every road has a slight slope of some kind. The only way i can get it to read zero G whilst stopped is to physically tilt the meter in its bracket before every run which just isnt practical and isnt neccessarily more accurate as i dont have a control reading to compare against. surely its the change in G which is used in calculations and therefore any slight G reading before a run doesnt matter. Has anyone used these before and if so, how the hell are u supposed to get these things to work accurately?? I have the Gtech Pro.........link is below. http://www.gtechpro.com/?gclid=CMHH5aDl2YsCFQrilAodvWePVw Thanks again, Ben.

Homer, I was using 19'' goodyear eagle F1s at 32 psi..............i did try letting the pressure down to 18psi but my times got worse. 13.066 with a 6spd BPU seems pretty good then. Good to know.

Jap 6sp BPU 1/4et 13.0661 1/4mph 111.11 60ft 2.158 wondering if there were any faster BPU 6spds?? Looks like autos are faster!! not by much though!
