    Spigot rings

Hello Anyone have an idea the size of the spigot rings for 18” Ultralite 755 Nürburgring wheels? Have bad vibration at high speed Wheels have been refurbished(new front tyres) and these could be missing Tried searching but theses are now older wheels and can’t find a definitive answer Going through the usual process of wheel balancing, alignment and bushes etc Would like these on hand if they are the case Thanks
  2. Cheers Blythmrk Thankyou! Hope you have mate If you have let me know what you want for it
  3. Thanks Dave Had a good look on the site but can’t see it anywhere You could be right about it being part of the barrel Keron knows the part and has panels but this part is missing off them Think it’s becoming an obsession to find one Daft, I know
  4. Hiya Anyone know if the black plastic ring that goes around the ignition hole is a part? Mine is missing and I’ve tried Toyota and Keron( he knows the part) and had no luck It clips into the panel around the ignition hole It does come off , so I’m presuming it’s a part Thanks
  5. Someone will put a 2JZ-GTE engine in it Just to see how it goes The MKV Is a Supra in name only Collaboration is rife in the car industry of today Lamborghini is Audi, Bugatti is Volkswagen,Aston Martins will have BMW engines and do it goes on The MKV will be a good car,as BMW’s usually are It is not a successor to the MKIV It stands alone for what it is: a BMW
  6. Sounds ok but looks like something from Mazda
  7. I have these (drilled only) with Hawk HPS pads Very happy with them

    New Supra

Just watched a video by Autocar A tester drove the pre production Supra prototype around a track It sounded pretty good No details at all released about anything It not difficult though to see past the camouflage and gauge the exterior lines Still nine months to go for its official release as the tester said Will it be worth the wait I wonder?
  10. Try Todd Insurance I’ve used them for a long time Good prices but I am of a certain age Good luck
  11. The F10 M5 is mighty DMS tuning(for a price) can take to a stage 2 tune at 720 brake
  12. I know what GRMN is an acronym for It still looks like German though
  13. Gazoo Those of is old enough will remember that a “gazoo” was a pseudo musical instrument About 5-6 inches long with a circular echo box on top The notes, such as they were ,were formed by literally “ toot ta tooting “ or da da da” into the mouthpiece A flat sounding sort of semi bugle sound Cant quiet believe Toyota thinks this is a “racing “ monogram for its top of the range cars
  14. Can’t remember where I saw it : but the US site had digitally removed all of the camouflage From the current spy shots Don’t know why but to me it looked like a Mazda I’m just glad I have a Mkiv Don’t cock it up Toyota
  15. You could try warm-hot air from either a heat gun(be careful) or a hair dryer on a hottish setting The plastic covering has become stretched Heating it and carefully spreading it out might work Use an old credit card but also the palms of your hands with as much force as nessesary Work it and manipulate the covering in different directions It might work Good luck
  16. Lift kit Missed that in your post O Lucky man Think l’m a wee bit jealous Do like them
  17. Well made piece of kit Mind the speed humps I made a splitter a few years ago from foam cored pvc Looked the part too; until an altercation with a double speed bump Second one didn’t fair well either I would love to try another but ‘fraid my luck wouldn’t last At the moment the roads here are totally littered with potholes and split surfaces A flaming disgrace Hope you have better luck than I did
  18. You don’t need to keep an auto in D You can use the box sequentially If I remember rightly(I am an elder) the Highway Code advises dropping down gears when approaching roundabouts or junctions Think
  19. I have an auto box cooler and an oil cooler Trying to stay on the safe side
  20. As DNK says there are different types on e bay Prestige Wheel Accessories sell them I replaced the rivets on my wheels with a set The heads look like a socket head Allen bolts Including postage about £73 for 100 plus I got caught for import duty There is also a place in Germany that does different types and sizes (bit dear) I drilled out the old ones and used Liquid Nails to to secure them They were a good fit, a fair tap with a light hammer and a drift and all went in Haven’t lost any yet Good luck
  21. As above;but could be a turbo seal Ive a long history(now very much history)with turbo seals The conversion to a single turbo finally ended my seal saga Hope it’s something simple Good luck
  22. Not yet Burna thanks Doing them next week Having the Supe checked over before a mapping session Changed the turbo for a PT6266 So keeping my soon to be bloodied fingers crossed for that:faint:
  23. Annabella You don't know me I've lost count of the times I've sliced my fingers chopping onions
  24. Thanks Burna and Jim (good thread Jim)Yes, the plastic bracket is glued on Appreciate the info Have to trust myself to be gentle with it Bloodied fingers here I come
