    Snakey tail

Being very new to the Supra(bought from Paul Whiffin,a real cracker-about 400bhp)and i know this isn't quite the weather for it,but is there any way of planting your foot, unless it's compltety dry(have rltc)without going into tail shaking snake waltz?Three times,oh boy.

  4. Home at last with my Supra,Bought from Paul Whiffin. Its the black 94 auto with 400 bhp he had for sale.Has Racelogic traction control(haven't a clue) GReddy boost controller and 3 core intercooler, with uprated fuel pump and oil coolers, fuel cut defender,s-tech springs.Very pleased with it.Feel the interior could do with a wee lift.Intend to have the seats retrimmed and door cards. How good are the carbon dash kits?I had the dash on my Calibra carbon dipped by Lenk in Germany(not cheap)Pics of these kits looks ok,but are they?Happy to be in the club(as to say!)

Thanks for the replys and advice.I'm not a particular fan of standing starts, its just if the notion takes me.I know this sounds naive;but just what is 'kickdown',no tittering!I wasn't comparing the Calibra to the Supra, its just that my Calibra is a good one:'96 with only 57k on it,and a flyer. As i said though i have had a long time hankering for a Supra;i think they are stunning, now i have one

You have a very good point there mate.Ther always seemed something that needed doing.can't wait to get a drive in the Supra, though an auto box is totally alien to me.Just exactly how do you squeeze a good 0-60 time out of it?

Thanks Ray.Its the one Paul has had advertised on the site:94 black auto about 400 bhp,its a beaut!.I have a Calibra turbo at the moment, putting out around 300bhp,bit more in torque;took it for a last blast today. It really can shift, she will go off the clock at 160 no bother and hit 60 in 5sec.Its one of the best examples i've seen.Ah well, look forward not back.Always wanted a Supra.Hope she will be as good as the Calibra is and has been.I feel that it will be,and more.Personallly,i blame Mr Allen for my oriental urges!Hello John!

Finally bought a Supra. Its from Paul Whiffin and its a cracker!Coming over this week to pick it up.Will post some pics(when i learn how) of the Gaijin Warrior San as she will be known .Mr.Allen you have corrupted me sir,now i have two turbos to worry about. My wife ,bless her,has taken this surprisingly well;so far.Hmm.
  10. Thanks for your replys, much appreciated. Will have a good look.It has to be worth the trouble as the Supra is such superb motor.look forward to many visits, but hopefully not on the tech section!
  11. Finally bought a Supra(from Whifbitz)Picking it up next week, its a cracker! It has the usual rear fog bolted on underneath.Does anyone know how to intergrate it into the light cluster?I am very new to supras so i am on a learning curve.Appreciate any help;thanks.
  12. Believe me if i had the funds i would take your arm off for this motor. As it is 9-10k is my lot as of yet,and i am looking.Good luck mate.

Thanks Geordie.Without putting a scud(jinx) on it,the Cally is going great.Has a 3.5 eds kit.uprated injectors, acctuator, fuel pump;enlarged throttle body ,'top hat' and inlet pipe, lightened flywheel, paddle clutch, sports t/x box, split turbo to exhaust downpipe,v6 radiator,s/s exhaust, home made cold air feed,Koni adhustables all round with Eibach springs and poly bushes front and rear.Dash has been carbon dipped.Looks ok.Power is about 300 brake, give or take, bit more in torque. Can't go any further without spending a lot more than i want to.Rather have a Supra TT!

I have been on this site dozens of times but as yet am not a full member. The reason being ;i don't own a Supra:yet.Still running my Cally t;going and looking very well;but the east has been pulling me for some time now(right John A).When the funds become available i would appreciate any members advice on buying. There are some cracking motors for sale at the moment on the site;if only i,that is bank account, was ready.Would have been if i hadn't have to have changed the t/x box, clutch and head gasket;all at just about the same time last year.Ah well so it goes.Hope to joining soon. Some body save me a nice black one!
